Re Branding Rights - To Charge or Not?!

re Brandable ebooks have been around for many years, but it is only now I have decided to test the waters with this business model.

In your opinion, which is the best marketing method in terms of price point. I have given a couple of scenarios below and I am hoping some seasoned marketers can give the benefit of their experience.

Scenario 1.
Well writtenAuthoritative ebook in any niche with up to 6 non re-brandable affiliate links in the resource section, but re-brandable website and author links. (a good freebie to help list builders gain credibility and also drive traffic back to their website, equally due to it being an authoritative ebook, the re-brander can sell on their website if they so wish)

Scenario 2.
as Scenario 1 but in reverse, fully re-brandable affiliate links and non re-brandable website or author links

Scenario 3.
again as Scenario 1, but with only 60% re-branding rights , ie, you keep 2 links for yourself but you also allow full re-branding of author and website.

From the options below, how would you market such an ebook?
  • A) Totally Free re-brandable rights
  • B) Minimal $7 re-brandable rights
  • C) $15 or above re-brandable rights
Thank you for your input,

Depends on what your looking to do, you did not really say.

I am guessing these will be for affiliates, correct? If so, don't see the 60% re-branded going over very well. Even if it was for just resellers. They would want all links for themselves. I personally wouldn't be interested in selling a book that benefits some one else. Just my opinion.

Or I completely misunderstood what you are asking. Likely Scenario

      Ron thanks for your input,

Scenario 2 would give them all affiliate links to re-brand ...plus remember, this is an authoritative ebook which does not necessarily need to be sold... it can be given away after re-branding with your affiliate links and help build your list.
