Does anybody know what happened to paydotcom's SSL certificate? Can you login there?

I had leave them few years ago. I hate their business ethics as They will not take any responsibility for the affiliate payments sent by the advertisers. That mean if advertiser like they will pay you otherwise not.

      This.

I don't know any serious, professional affiliates who are willing to promote products there. Who wants to be dependent on a vendor for payment, when there are over 15,000 products to choose from at ClickBank alone, and plenty of other networks, too?

ClickBank is a vendor and you are dependent on them for payment.

        So is Amazon.

Networks, like CJ, are only middlemen between the affiliate and vendor. If the vendor does not pay the affiliate does not get paid. A network is not a surety guaranteeing payment for affiliates.

As for PDC vs. CB, I'm not a big fan of either. But I know this from experience, if someone in the PayDotCom system is doing something wrong and you complain, they will move swiftly and terminate bad actors. If you complain in ClickBank good luck. If a CB seller is ripping off affiliates by overriding cookies I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for action or to think CB will cut you a check out of its profits.

I imagine that most people reading the thread will have appreciated that the distinction I was drawing was between "well-known online retailers/affiliate networks with long histories of reliable payments to many tens of thousands of affiliates" and "unknown individual vendors who can easily - and sometimes do - stiff their affiliates fairly randomly over commissions earned, because they're (supposed to) pay you directly, without the network doing anything about it". Most people. Not quite everyone, it seems.

Excuse me. This thread is not about who do you know or don't. It's abut the SSL sertificate problem. Please read the thread title before to post your comment. Thank you.

I was replying to Vishwa's comment, and agreeing with him, not to yours. It was perfectly clear. Sorry, but starting the thread doesn't mean that you own it. Nor do you have the right to lay down conditions about how or to whom other members reply. It's a forum, for Heaven's sake: not every single comment in every single thread necessarily addresses the thread title directly.

Actually this is an offtopic. I see you are trying to gain as more posts as possible (looks like 23,983 is not enough), but please make a dedicated thread to discuss the paydotcom business model. This thread is about the SSL certificate problems. Thank you!

A person is allowed to express their opinion if they like. I think your comment is a little harsh and certainly doesn't add anything to the discussion.

There is no warning. There is the sec_error_revoked_certificate error code.
