Sellers don't honour there guarantee's

Hi all,

I'm sure many of you have come across double, triple, iron clad, rock solid.. etc guarantee's. Another guarantee which is becoming fairly common is double your money back guarantee.

Where you try it, if it doesn't work, provide proof and get double your money back. It's not a big deal - but currently I'm trying to get a seller to pay up.

Is there any legal ground to try and get the seller to pay this?

Thanks in advance!

Are you referring to a a normal "get your money back refund" or
you want double your money back? Sellers should honor their
guarantee but if you want the double money back then I don't
know if you have a legal recourse rather than just asking the
    seller to honor this.

      Hi Ray,

I mean double. And by legal - I don't mean like taking them to court or anything. But can I contact JVzoo or Paypal to try and get them to get the seller to honour his guarantee.

      Thanks

I very much doubt that any payment platform would force the seller
to pay you more than what you paid for the product. The only extra
I know a seller would pay would be a charge-back fee for credit
        card payment reversals.

As Ray said above , i'm pretty sure any payment platform wouldn't force the seller to pay you double back just to honor their guarantee .If the seller gives it , you have the chance if not no chance . .you should be happy with a refund and not being scammed.

I thought as much, wasn't expecting too much. Getting scammed is out of the question with JVzoo, Paypal and a Chargeback as viable options to get my money back, I wasn't worried of that.

Are there certain terms that you have to pass before asking for this kind
    of guarantee.

Make sure that there isn't any "Small Print" that you may have missed.

These can be very hard to see and usually they're at the bottom of the page.

If you have agreed to every term and you can prove that then you must keep
    pursuing your claim.

    Good Luck,
    Gavin

    Hi Gav,

As far as I know there's nothing. It was a pretty definitive guarantee. After the initial refund and quick responses, I asked about the second guarantee, after sending 4 emails regarding this, the seller is still to respond. Which leads me to believe he knows I'm entitled to it.

I'm confused at his reluctance and lack of professionalism, he has had some moderately big and successful launches on the WF. Oh well.

    Thanks

Personally If you get your money back at all, (your doing good) double, no way, its not realistic to believe that anyone would do that, (even if they promise it) I think its silly to make promises that you know you will never carry out, but it is just like these car lot commercials you see or hear on the radio, where they make a statement that well beat any deal or give you a brand new car. Well you know that is not true and there is no circumstance where you could make them do that and they would not do that anyway.

Car dealers are natural born liars, (sorry to the one or two honest car dealers out there) LOL

You can forget about JVZOO they do not even have an open line of communication with their user base,

Paypal, LOL, they could care less about any kind of digital product at all.

    ---------------

What this means in the future is that you will have to begin to approach any offer as a lie.

(if you are not 100 percent sure that the product is a good one and that you can use it)

Dont buy it, certainly do not use JVZOO

What are you trying to recover? "Double Money Back Guarantee" on a $7 product? If it's a small price, just take a refund and move on. I understand you want the seller to honor his guarantee, but you can always just leave a review on the thread you bought it from.

Wasting all this time and effort on a thread and trying to get someone to honor it is taking time and effort away from more important things you could be doing.

For sure, if this is pursued further than getting the refund it makes it appears
the buyer was intentional on getting in getting the double money back. It
doesn't have to be this but it's all in the appearance.

I highly doubt you can really do anything legally. You can bad mouth the product claim and product creator and see if others who have wanted to take advantage of that same offer join the bandwagon. If enough negative claims pop up all over the place that looks bad for the product creator and if it is a highly sought out product others might not be willing to purchase it.

You can always post things on Rip Off Report and similar sites as them seem to show up a lot in search rankings for product searches which would be bad for the product creator.
