Are Your Clickbank Sales Down?

They certainly are for me during the past week or so. Wonder if there's some tracking problem with them.
Anybody else noticed that? Or is it just me?
I've seen people say that when their cb nickname gets 'old' sales go down and when they change the nickname, sales catch up again.
Anybody truly experienced that?

Any advice/help would be much appreciated as I'm freaking out.

    I was just about to start a thread about CB. In the last 30 days I have had 194 Hops (according to CB analytics) for a variety of high conversion products and zero sales.

    Am I doing something wrong. Is this unusual? What in the heck gives?

      Depends! Did you use to make sales or is this your first experience with CB?

      Depends on the product, sales page, nature of traffic (targeted or not) etc. etc. I guess

        Mine are down, as well. I was making at least one sale a week and now nothing for the last two and a half weeks...thought it was just me!

            The way I see it, the only danger of not masking them is the following right?
            "if a CB affiliate sees that it's a hoplink, he can go to CB, build his own hoplink and buy through it"
            Of course there is that 'cosmetic' effect too!

            It's not like someone can transfer all my hops to his nickname right? Can they do that? I don't think.

            Mine were never cloaked and I didn't have a probelm like this before

              Giving my 2cents on this, a long time ago I actually did a test on this and masked my affiliate links so that they could not see what the link intailed without clicking on it. To my suprise it did increase conversion rates. I am not saying in anyway that this WILL work but it did for me.

                Yes I can see that happening! But how many people would be aware of these things? I may be completely wrong I guess!

                  Well alot of people know about clickbank and some people just think that clickbank is a place where you can promote products, they don't think that maybe there are some good products on clickbank.

          With literally tens of thousands of Clickbank Affiliates who are promoting CB products, how difficult do you think it is to find a couple of hundred affiliates whose sales are down?

          It's just a matter of understanding the big numbers.

          It really is.

          I understand I am not making myself popular by making such a bold claim, but as a vendor (and affiliate for many other products) I still think Clickbank is the way to go.
