If you want to go down that path - I do not recommend it -, I believe there are ways of making it profitable even on modern Google, and I think there are still people out there making money with heaps of autoblogs. It wasn't that long ago that I read someone's detailed method about setting up a very specific kind of autoblog. Interestingly, it involved a strong social component, engaging people in conversation to get attention for your autoblogs. Just setting up and forgetting a number of them is likely not to work.

I'll say autoblogging is alive and well.

But, it really depends on your definition of "Autoblog"; I mean... I could argue that all content is theoretically automated in some sense.

if you are dependent on Google for your results then yes .... but if you have other sources of traffic like social media then no.
