social bookmarking - the right way?

hey guys,

I would appreciate your opinions on how exactly you social bookmark your pages/posts. For example, when I am using digg, I usually use the same title and just add alittle bit of the article to the body. What do you guys do? Do you use a different title each time you bookmark a page or post or do you switch them up. Do you add the page/post link in the subscription or not?

If I understand the question properly - Yeah, that's pretty much what I do - I use the title since that's typically devised for the keyword/phrase I'm doing that post/page about, then usually I use the page/post description since that's usually somewhat of a "teaser" for the rest of the page/post...

      Hope that helps!

      Best,
      David

        Hey david,

Thanks for the reply, this is what I was hoping to hear. I am just wondering if using a new title for each social bookmark on a single post would be better. If you think about it each time you social bookmark a post or page using the same title it will come up the same in the search engines but if you use different titles than your range in the search engines will expand, or it would seem that way, wouldn't it?
