Yes, CB is still worth for making money. You need to master targeted traffic for making sales with CB.

Yes it's still possible to make money with Clickbank, the "gravity" of each product proves that! (It means there are active affiliates making money off the products they're promoting).

My suggestion is pick several products you'd like to promote in any given niche... then create a website in that niche. Do keyword research and try and rank for keywords within your niche. Promote the products using banners on your site, and another great tip would be to start a list! Get people to opt in for a free report of some kind, capture emails, and first send them relative FREE and valuable content, then also start sending them emails promoting the clickbank products too. It's not easy and will take work, but it could make you money this way!

    Good luck!

      Yes, it's still worth it.

It helps if you create a presell report or a QUALITY review of the product(s).

Also targeted traffic of course, but the review and report will help with that.

And, of course, make sure the product is a good one and has a high quality landing page.

    The two don't go together.

Search-engine traffic is about the worst kind you can have, for ClickBank sales (and of course there are reasons for that: it's not just an "arbitrary finding"). http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8659398

Honestly, the answer for you is the same as it is for anyone: whether you can make money as a ClickBank affiliate depends on your own skills.

    I'd start here, myself: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

It's like everything else in internet marketing (and in most forms of self-employment, I think): some people succeed, and a few succeed very dramatically, but most don't. (That's about whether people have the knowledge and skills they need to become successful with it, of course.)

Er ... no, sorry: this isn't what it means, at all.

This is quite a widespread belief, but it isn't actually true: this isn't what "gravity" measures. I know it looks that way, and many people say that it's like that, and even many "guidebooks" explain it that way, but it's all wrong.

There are some high-gravity products which no affiliates are promoting at all, let alone "successfully promoting".

And there are quite a lot of single-figure gravity products which steadily and consistently far outsell products with three-figure gravities.

These posts/threads will show you what "gravity" really measures.

As long as there are high quality products on clickbank you can promote that pay you a nice commission then it will be possible to make money with clickbank.

The methods for doing so remain the same, and yes you can create a blog around a certain niche and rely on seo to drive traffic

    However more advisable is this:
-> Create a landing page and capture people's email address
-> Set up a funnel in which you give value to subscribers and promote products simultaniously.
-> Send targeted traffic to your landing page
-> Test and tweak your funnel until it's profitable.

Once it's profitable you can scale it and rinse and repeat with another funnel.

    Good luck!

Yes clickbank is worth it. Chose a subject you are passionate about, or have a special knowledge about. Then create unique quality content. Then search the clickbank marketplace for your passionate subject and join that affiliate program. Clickbank is very rewarding if you are willing to research, write unique content and are not looking for a quick fix. Google hates thin duplicate content - so create unique content then promote your chosen affilate program

High gravity Clickbank products does not mean that the product will convert for you.High gravity means a lot of competition and it has greater chance of being saturated.I look for products gravity>5 ,if it is Youtube traffic I pick a price range $2-$50 on the front end of my sales funnel .Ask for a review copy or buy the product from the vendor to see if the product is really value for money.

It is. Not sure what *your* plan will be to get recurring sales though. You should build up your email list and get sales that way. If you can find a recurring monthly income affiliate product, that's the ultimate. But there are 101 other monthly income affiliate programs. One of the most notable is the webhosting niche.

There is no better time than now! Clickbank is growing fast everyday with top quality products and as far as SEO goes it never been easier to get page ranked when you do your work. Biggest advice is understand that it takes time to develop the skill and just stick at it and follow through.

Very true. However many clickbank products and services have had years of refinement and big investment. If an affiliate has a passion or affinity with a subject or topic they can search the clickbank market place for a reputable product and service and promote that with quality unique content. In other words they can piggy bank on the success of a clickbank product/service or grab onto their coat tails.

      Exactly so.

Every time I read a "ClickBank thread" here, I'm wincing at all the people telling other people that it's about SEO.

These are not people making their livings as ClickBank affiliates! Search-engine traffic and ClickBank sales are not a good mix, at all (and that's putting it mildly).

I agree with dndoseller... as an affiliate - NO; as a product owner, yes. The reason I say this is because Clickbank lets anyone sign up for "free" but it's not free. What they do is take people's hard-earned money out of their accounts - legally - but covering it in their policies.

I had several affiliate accounts; some of which were not active for a while, as I was out of commission (excuse the pun) with surgery and was not actively promoting products for a year. After I started up again, all the accounts I had paid me my past-due monies, except for Clickbank. When I logged into my account to pick out some new products to promote, I noticed that the $90 I had previously was all gone. Clickbank "steals" all the money out of your account if it is not used.

Can you imagine how much money they make off of people who are unaware of this. I would love to see their "earnings" from all the money they take out of people's accounts. I would venture to say this is a penalty for not continually promoting Clickbank products, but if that's the way they operate, then I am gone. I closed my account and will be dealing with other affiliate companies of higher integrity.

Apparently they have at least 100,000 affiliates. Most affiliates don't make much money, so lets hypothetically say that 60,000 are not making much money and their accounts go inactive. Even if there was only $10 in each account, that's $10 Clickbank will legally steal. $10 x 60,000 = $600,000; a nice chunk of change for them, but you can see how it's likely waaaaaay more than that. Nice earnings that they conveniently steal from others who have done the work. Nice company......

Knowing that most affiliates make a few dollars, and then give up or lose interest, this must be a slam dunk (albeit SHADY) money-making venture for them. How scammy! Legal - yes.... moral - no. There are lots of affiliate companies out there. So, if you have products to sell, then go ahead and use CB, but if you're an affiliate, beware if something happens to you and you are not able to be active for a time. Also, ALWAYS build a list. That's really the only way for a decent income. Affilliate sales alone are not a real business. Just sayin'

Edit: Here's a good read (which I found out a little too late):
(Unethical) Clickbank May Never Pay You Your Commissions:
    http://admindaily.com/clickbank-may-...ommission.html

Edit: I will likely be opening a CB account in the future, but it will not be as an affiliate. Creating & selling your own products and building an email list is really the only business model worthwhile. When I started out, I bought into the "affiliate dream" only to find out that it is not really a business.... well, not the way I was doing it. If anyone wants a shortcut to success, I would recommend picking up Jim Cockrum's Silent Sales Machine ebook (it's only $5 and you will save yourself a TON of wasted time & energy).

I think people should stop asking this question. It is not Clickbank, it is the products. The same could be said for JVZoo, warriorplus, CJ, Amazon, Digital point, and all the others. If you purchase or get hold of a product, you like it, it works, and you think you can promote it and make money then it does not matter what affiliate network is hosting it.

If you can not find a product on clickbank that you want to promote then, no, you will not be successful with it

Yes, you can make money but just as anything else you have to put in the time and effort to do so. Here are steps that will help...
        1. Make sure you select a good product. Your product should be something that solves a problem and select a niche that has low competition
        2. Do you keyword research and select keywords with low competition and searches greater than 10000
        3. Create a site that reviews the products you've selected
        4. Create banners for the product on your site or blog
        5. Post content about the product that ranks in the search engines on your blog/site and in article directories
The key is to take massive action once you find a product that works.

great job of getting rid of the crap!

I still use them as a payment processor and still send promos

Why Clickbank? Why Amazon? or Why Adsense? The thing is you should stick with what you start till you make it work. If you are creative and stay focused you can definitely make money. I just happened to check my Clickbank account today. I made $150 selling only 2 products. I completely forgot I was even selling Clickbank products.

I have a very large authority sites and only in a few places I sell Clickbank products. Every now and then I get a few sales. It is not even my main source of income but it is entirely passive. When I go into my account to look at which products they were, I realize that the product was from 1 review I wrote more than a year back. Yet today I made a sale.

just like that you can passively make money. Was there a lot of work? ABsolutey. I had to do SEO, Social media and post tons of useful content that my readers love but in the end I get many sources of revenue from that one site. I don't depend on just Clickbank. I use Amazon and some other networks that are very laser targeted for the niche I am in who are very good pay masters.

Don't only rely on SEO by the way.

All I would say is don't give up. When I started out I was trying everything under the moon till I stuck with what works. I made $200 after months of trying. It took me 3 years to give up my full time job. Do you see how you need to work at it? I wish you the very best.

Yes, I would say use Clickbank as your starting source of income.

Will you make money right away? Probably not, but that is only because you haven't built up the knowledge to take serious action in a short amount of time.

Many people MAKE BIG MONEY from CB. I too make a good additional income from work I have done two or even years ago.

Heck, even the old Yahoo Answers campaigns I set up in 2010 still bring in additional sales and cash my way.
