I'm new to all this internet marketing and would I like to know how to get started. I've been browsing around the warrior forums and it's all a little confusing to me. I don't quite get the jargon and I'm having a hard time figuring out where I want to start. Can anyone help me get started and set me on my way to success?

    Do you have your own site yet? If you have not created a website or blog yet, I'd start there. Get that created and add some good content to it.

    If you already have the site/blog built: I'd start by learning the basics about things like SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SMM (Social Media Marketing).

    At this point, I would continue reading up and educating yourself on here as much as possible about the different business models that you can pursue with IM. Be sure to look through all the different sections of the forum.

    Because the first thing you need to do, is pick 1 topic, one business model that piques your interest and resonates with you the most.

    That way, you can then focus on learning as much about that one area as you can, and start implementing. ONLY that 1 area.

    Don't make the mistake of trying to dabble in several different things to try to find out what you like or what works the best, because I can tell you from experience that is just a recipe for failure.

    Thanks for the reply guys! Really helpful. I'm seeing I have a lot of homework to do, but not enough to deter me! This is a really cool and interesting field to get oneself involved in.

    Just one other question off the top of my head, in your opinions, what would you consider a good field for someone like me to start in? Affiliate Marketing or Product Creation?
    I'm thinking Affiliate Marketing. A buddy of mine is in Product Creation but he centers all of his time around that. I have a full time job and too me Affiliate Marketing just seems like it would suit me more for the time being.

    Any thoughts?

      Your goal should be to become a product creator, but affiliate marketing allows you to focus and master traffic generation, whereas product creation requires you to focus on lots of different aspects of marketing at one time.

      I started with affiliate marketing and then I went into product creation once I felt confident in my traffic generation methods.

    And if you still choose affiliate marketing, don't underestimate the amount of time and effort you'll need to dedicate.
