Sorry about that, Yes I am promoting a product that I created about learning the piano. I will be submitting the articles this week. The question was about the steps to take after the article is submitted to get the most use and exposure out of the articles.

I have 5 articles too submitted 2 weeks ago and because I did keyword research pretty well, 3 of 5 articles accepted by EzineArticles are listed on first page of Google. I have a plan to create backlinks for those articles, but please note that don't get rush on creating backlinks.

If Google know that you're too enthusiast to build backlinks, for example 100 backlinks in a week, then you will have a chance to be removed from Google.

A good way to start is if you have a email list send them a link to those articles. Also as a traffic booster for your articles and product submit your articles via twitter feed stating you just read a great article about such and such. Now unless it is a hot trend at twitter it will be on the first few pages of twitter feeds for at least a couple of days. This is how I start I send everything I have done and will do through twitter first then again a few hours later via onlywire social bookmarking which will give the articles a few extra quick back links should send you up towards the top of your keywords. good luck hope it works out for you.

Thanks for the responses guys but I think some are missing the question that I have.

1. Do I submit all my articles to ezines the same day or spread them out?

2. Besides social bookmarking and building backlinks (slowly) are there any other steps I should take to get more exposure to my articles and get the most out of them?

You can submit them all at once as far as I know. Takes Ezine a week or so to approve them. Once they are approved, you can get your author's Rss feed and submit the feed to RSS directories. Link your blog, squidoo lenses, etc. to your article also. Make sure you have your keywords you wish to rank high for in your article title.

Yes. Submit them the same day as Ezinearticles doesn't approve overnight. They actually have real people manually approve or reject articles. Once your article is approved, build strong back links around your article. Create blogs that link back to your article and make sure to ping your blog right away. By the way, make sure you choose the right long tail keyword phrases in order to make sure you optimize your sales. Hope that helps!

my advice would be to wait a couple weeks to get links from ezine and other article marketing sites.You waited so long right,why not wait a little longer but get it done right way.Building links and getting the word out about your website takes time.so be patient and your time will come.If all of your articles are on the same topic,I would also make some changes and open up a free blogspot or wordpress blog and schedule them for posting a week at a time.(another place for your links will start building too).Make sure you use SEO properly by targeting the keywords (that these articles are about) so they will show up in google search results eventually.I would also recommend to spread out your articles among other directories too.

If that is the resource box on the other article directories, beside EzineArticles, then I don't think it's a good idea to be linked to the original version, but linked to other similar articles will be great idea. because people will boring reading two articles with same meaning. please correct me if I'm wrong...

Yes I was doing some further research and linking your articles to other articles will help in the search engines but some people would not like to see the same article twice or even a similar rewritten one but if the site is getting ranked higher it will attract more visitors. I think I would prefer my site ranking higher than my article but I could be wrong.

Another way to get visibility for your articles is to go to Yahoo Answers! and start replying to questions that are directly related to your niche.

Your goal is provide a good detailed response so that your replies get voted as "Best Answers". Also, be sure that you cite one of your articles as the source for your reply. Always make sure that the article you cite is directly related to your reply.

Although Yahoo Answers is nofollow, it is a great way to get additional traffic. You just have to know how to use it right.

5 articles is great and more than most would ever write. However, 5 articles won't get you anywhere.

If you are new to this then write a minimum of 30-50 articles and submit them all to ezinearticles.com. Not all at once but try to get at least 1 or 2 a day out there.

Use a long tail keyword in the title. Write a compelling resource box. Provide useful content. On most important: Don't give up but follow through.

The resource box, or signature link is really the only place you get to market yourself on ezinearticles. So make a strong statement as to why someone should visit you. A free sample, or download in exchange for their email address.

I had a question for robson. When you said you had three ezinearticles on the front page of Google did you mean that you had three ezine articles show up in the top 10 for exactly the same search term simultaneously? Not that I don't believe what you say, I do--I've just never seen three ezine articles show up on a single Google page for any search term, let alone all on the same page and was curious. I just like to keep up with what's up with Google.

Hi Mike,

not three articles show on the same page. that's impossible. what I did was I choose 5 [long tail] keywords first, maximum 4 words. use Micro Niche Finder to do this, check the SOC indicator, Ezine-Lookup, and total exact sites already listed on Google.

then I use these 5 keywords to write 5 different articles.

in result, 3 of 5 articles submitted to EzineArticles get ranked pretty well on Google. but not all of them appears in the same page. If you type keyword A, you will get my article listed there. if you type keyword B, you will see my article there too... also if you do the same with keyword C.

even though those 3 articles 'sit' on the first page of Google, the rank for each article is different. now, the question is what do we need to do to get it up until top 3?

well, only Google knows the answer. but I've asked and get many valuable information from this forum, the conclusion is same that is BACKLINKS!

if you just submit your articles to article directories and do nothing, that's not article marketing, that's article submission.

there are many ways you can do to build links. I'm not going to teach you how to get backlinks here, because there are so many 'backlink experts' here. you can ask them.

John Reese said on his traffic secrets 2.0 that we must pay attention on how fast we create backlinks. if we do it too fast, 500 backlinks a week for example, then you will have a chance to be 'kicked' from Google.

The usual way of writing articles then submitting it article directories which you already did.Now,if you are making articles to promote a product or site means backlinks is the true reason for it.So do more ways for better marketing strategies.

In six months i have written about 8 articles for my site. It doesnt drive a heap of traffic, but i get the occasional visit, plus it creates backlinks

Its a good way to submit to the ezine directory. It is a great way to bring traffic. But you must constantly keep updating your contents to bring constant traffic. else it will not work.

In my opinion, you should write more than five articles, and submit them to multiple sites. While you are waiting for your Ezinearticles to get approved, you can submit the articles to other sites like Hubpages, and start generating some traffic immediately without waiting forever for Ezine to approve your articles.

I agree, rewriting is always a good idea when submitting to the top 5 directories.. Ezinearticles will give you more traffic by a mile, so submit the originals there.

Now if you really want to see the traffic start rolling in you need to do 5 a day.

My take on this...

don't submit them all on the same day. I'd space it out, maybe a couple of days in
between, because new articles show up in the "new articles" section, and that way
your chances are better to have a new one there for a longer period of time.

Also, write some more!

And yes, I also use that republish and link back to article technique, but I usually
match up a few related articles and pick my favorites and link to them from RELATED
articles, not the identical ones, like robson said higher up here.

So for example, if I had 6 articles, articles 1,2, 3,4,5, and 6, then I might target articles
1 and 2 for primary promotion, and assign articles 2,3, and 4 to point to 1, and 1, 5,
and 6 to article 2. Does that make sense? It will definitely enhance the reader
experience, and getting more clicks is always good.

Also, I promote my articles on Twitter much the same way. Tip on ___ (or I give a tip)
and then the link... Then cycle through the articles I'm trying to promote.
