Lead Magnets and Thank You Pages

Hi All

I need some more advice if possible.

I have developed 3 separate guides that I was planning on using as lead magnets.

Its in the health and fitness niche.

I focusing my targeting on the mums and professional (busy) womens niche.

My guides are:

An eating guide based on a certain type of eating
A meal plan based on the same eating type
An exercise plan for busy people.

Do you think I am better giving away them all for free as a lead magnet for an email address

OR

Giving away the clean eating guide along with another piece of content such as "How to strip belly fat" then using my other 2 guides as a tripwire offer on my thank you page selling them at something like $5 for both?

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

    The only way to really find out for sure, Is to jump in and try it. Setup a few split tests, see which yields the most results.

      Thanks Ryan, do you know how would I do that on the home page of my blog? As I have optin forms on there so would ideally need to test that too. I understand how I can a/b test landing pages so that isnt a problem. Would I just set up two version of my homepage?

        Yeah pretty much, and two Opt-in forms. You'll then be able to see which converts the best, and go from there.

    One out of the three can be a freebie the link to which is delivered via an autoresponder. Use a redirect script to lead them to your paid products with a special offers.

      From experience do you think it is best to deliver the content via an auto responder then redirect to a thank you page with other products on.

      or

      via a thank you page with download links and the up-sell offers on?
