WSO price increase method questions

Could someone break down this method a little bit more? I plan to use it on an upcoming product in a niche. So you just increase the price of the product price every time a limit is met? I feel as if there is more to it and how to I set something like that up tech wise?

JVzoo and WarriorPlus both have a dime sale option built into their systems.

I don't think I would ever do a dime sale. From personal experience when I look at a product and the price is $29.00 but after reading the reviews I find that people bought the product for $5.95 I usually pass. I do not think paying a $24.00 penalty because I was not hovering over the enter button at the right time is a fair deal.

I have passed on some products for that reason.

To me, dime-sales are a deal breaker

That is just me and my opinion though

I'm totally with you on that.

I can't say that I've passed on every dimesale, but certainly on the ones where the price difference was significant.

I've missed early bird offers when products launched only to have the prices jacked up to a point where I really didn't want to pay for something. Contest Burner is a prime example...I missed out on the fire sale during launch and later I needed a plugin that handled contests and Contest Burner was the only real option.

Depending on how great a product is, running a discount up front to get the ball moving isn't necessarily a problem. If you have something that people want and have little to no competition I would either offer an early bird discount to boost sales, or do something like a dime sale.
