Recommendations for Best Guide to Promote Affiliate Sites? (non SEO)

I get all my traffic from SEO but would like to pull it from more sources and then not specifically social media as they convert real poor.

Anyone know of a rock solid guide that applies to affiliate type of sites?

Same like Jason Kanigan's cold calling WSO's.

Digital marketing is not really my thing but I always manage to find something and scale that up big time to be successful but that's often just one source of traffic, for example forum marketing / classified ads to sell my SEO services but I want to widen my range and then more specific to promote affiliate sites as I like to be less dependant on customers. Eg: More freedom!

Very simple method I use to generate responsive traffic and into a customer is custom funnels explaining why I recommend these affiliate products and purchase traffic from solo ads. This is the fastest way to scale your business online In my opinion.

Add this strategy with your seo and you have created yourself the yin and yang of marketing, long term seo organic leads and fast scalable leads from paid solo ads.

I hear that a lot about solo ads, and although it sounds relatively easy how you explain it, finding reliable solo ad providers is not that easy at all. When I look to buy expired domains I run into a lot of fake stuff but that's quite easy to find out, but with solo ads you could throw a lot of money over the counter with nothing in return as it's populated by scams big time.

Most of the more experienced internet marketers at this forum recommend to grow your own list instead of depending on other peoples lists so then we're back to the question of where to pull the traffic from

Paid traffic is not really an option when the ultimate goal is to make money as an affiliate as the payouts aren't that great.

        Yes - very much so.

There's not much affiliate income without that.

I think you'll find there are a few hundred (or thousand) people here who don't agree with that part. There's nothing at all wrong with building your lists from paid traffic (of various kinds). It can be very profitable. You have to look at the long-term value of the subscriber, not just the initial sale. Most of the money in successful affiliate marketing comes from making repeated sales to the same audience.

I bet it could work for certain niches, I'm a bit stuck with Amazon in my head, which would make it a lot harder.

Really? What if I said you where wrong? That people make tons of money without a list? And that the number one traffic for a amazon review site comes from search engines?

Niko you could hire someone to do quality forum posting that gives value to the members and drive traffic that way. This wont work in every niche tho.
