3500 clicks "Vanished" into thin air (help me find 'em)

This past week 1 of my affiliates sent over 4300+ clicks to my website.

The trouble is only about 700 of those clicks showed up in analytics (both Google and Awstats)

The clicks showed in 1SC affiliate reports (all 4300)... and his Gotrythis (now tracker.ly)

It appears as if about 75% of the clicks ended up getting sent elsewhere... but neither of us can figure out where.

With my product averaging $4-$6 EPC 3500 clicks is a fairly significant amount of lost revenue ($15,000-$20,000 to be exact)

I'd love it if someone can help me out with this.... cause I'm stumped.

Perhaps a lot of them pulled out before the page loaded properly. So your affiliate link was showing the clicks but unless the full page loaded, you wouldn't see them in Awstats and/or Google Analytics.

Please check if the tracking links from your affiliate dashboard are (or were) working when the clicks were sent. Maybe the clicks were too rapid for the affiliate engine to handle and possibly it timed out.

Maybe using a tracker in future may help with tracking your website traffic.

A lot more people than we'd like to think use adblocks and google analytics won't show them (I know as I use Olark to monitor my website and man, a lot don't show up in Google Analytics)

Build a simplified page count on your website and see if this account for the difference?
