Best Way To Create Short Videos?

I was wondering what is the best way to generate good-looking easy to make videos. I used to work with after effects templates just editing the text out but it takes too much time since my laptop can't handle it for some reason.

Here is an example:

Any ideas?

    You can check out the Videomaker Fx software to make kinetic typography videos and there's plenty of vendors on fiverr you can search through as well.

    It depends what you want to do. I would suggest not getting VidoMaker FX as it's still very unstable. It has potential but until the developers get the bugs out it's an exercise in frustration.

    I picked up Corel Video Studio 7 Ultimate a couple of months ago for around the same price as the above mentioned, and it can do quite a bit including some pretty fancy kinetic typography. Part of the program is Boris FX, a cool, though lesser kind of AE. But again, it depends on what you need it for.

    We've used Vegas for almost 14 years now

    Crop and Pan is what we do with stills and it looks good on short vids with text overlays

    Anyone see a FX plug in for Vegas to do the text overlays like this video

    Pretty nice IMO and if there's any Vegas plug ins we would like to use it to do text like that

    I have been using camtasia in creating short videos for quite some time now and so far I am very happy with the results.

    You may use online tools like Animoto - Make & Share Beautiful Videos Online as well.

    All the above are good suggestions, IMHO. I'd add: get a good Structure mapped out for your video before you start scripting etc. Block it out first. Point by point stuff tends to end up dull...
