Which 3D ebook cover style converts the best?

(See my next post for the 6th attachment)

I don't yet have the resources to do any split testing, but I'm sure many of you already have enough experience to know which 3d cover style generally converts better, right?

Styles 1 and 2 are similar (hardcover), but would it convert better to show the spine side or the pages side?

Styles 3 and 5 both look shorter. I'm thinking that might be good because people are lazy and want to get through reading things quickly, but there's also the risk giving the impression that the book doesn't have much content.

Style 4 looks thick but paperback. Is paperback or hardcover better?

Style 6 looks pretty cool because it seems to fit the theme, but at the same time I personally get an unprofessional feeling from this cover style. Thoughts?

Also, I'm selling this for $10 and it's about 100 pages long if that information is at all relevant.

Based on the title of your product, covers 1, 2 and 6 look better than 3, 4 and 5. It's an arsenal, and that suggests strength with a military overtone. 1 and 2 are solid, tough covers, and 6 looks like it could be a special report from command. 3, 4 and 5 look more thin and flimsy and don't mesh well with the title.

    All the best,
    Michael

The 6th one looks more professional to me. I don't like the color scheme though...but that's just me.

It really depends on your audience, you should split test all 6 of them and get hard data instead of asking here on the forum

You could probably have success with all the images. It matters on the presentation you get toward the image. Hope that makes sense.

I really wouldn't spend too much time worrying about this because even if 100 people in this thread said number 6, it's still no indication of what YOUR target market are going to respond to the best.

So just pick a decent one such as number 6 and get going with things. I think there are much more important things to focus on that will have a far greater impact -- things such as your page headline for instance. Spend the time on those things that are likely to have a bigger impact.

I would personally go with 1 and 2 but again that is my personal choice.

I like #4.May be i like it because as a buyer it projects more value since it is bulky.
