Jvzoo - New payment by check option?

Haven't been over to jvzoo in the longest time, and was just noticing there is a "check by mail" feature on the payment profiles page.

Does this mean I can get paid for my sales as a seller by check, instead of my paypal account? Or is this check feature only for affiliates?

    Since payments are made to vendors and affiliates at the time the transaction takes place, I have no idea what that feature is. I doubt they would pay either by check as it would make refunds, etc very hard to process.

      Wondering if anyone else had experience with this?
      I released a product a couple of months back on JVZoo - and a few affiliates I approved with Delayed commissions (as advised).

      However, I now have some of these affiliates, who made sales, having their commissions due - and a couple have ONLY got this Check By Mail option listed as a way to pay them.

      So, what? I'm expected to cut a check for $7.50 and mail it to India at my expense?
      Where was the warning to me that this could happen? There as no presenting me this information when I went to approve the affiliate request. Am feeling pretty outraged at JVZoo right now about this.

      Fair enough, the guy deserves his commission - but there is no way I would have set things up that could put me in this position if I had known. I don't live in the US, I'm in Australia (but used USD as my currency - saw no harm in that) and I don't have a cheque book (personally or as a business). So for this $7.50 payment, I have to get a foreign currency cheque issued in USD and mail it internationally, presumably with some kind of registered post so I can prove I did so. Ludicrous.

      Would be very interested to hear if anyone else has come up against this problem - and/or knows where the setting is to prevent accepting affiliates that only have this payment method? Or have I missed some other way around this?
