How to market Computer Services?

I have offered clickbank products and affiliate products online for a couple weeks now. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how i would market Online Computer Services. I currently have my CCNA, support about 2000 ipads, about 900 pcs, my own server, access points, etc etc basically I am computer tech for a school district. I also have my OSCP which is a hand on cert course for penetration testing. I am currently working on a lot of scripting as well to automate different issues at my job and can use the skills I am learning for outside my job as well.

So the run down is I have no idea how to market this? Like all my experience since I am so new to online marketing is just clickback and peerfly. Could someone lead me to some ideas on how to market this field. All the stuff I see on clickback that is even computer related has very low sales

Thanks

You'd probably make a decent hourly wage hiring yourself out as an online "geek squad" of sorts. A Facebook campaign targeting older demographics would work, search ads, or go straight to Freelancer, oDesk, etc.

If you are able to also do some web related troubleshooting installation etc, then you can offer your service right here on WF. Alternatively, chose a diagnostic service that you can offer on Fiverr and you can offer more detailed service as up-sell for anyone who needs more detailed work. Get yourself added on computer service related forums and you will be able to offer your services there as well. I also suggest you start a blog and give away free tips and ideas and along with that you can sell your services as well as affiliate products. For someone as skilled as you, you can easily establish yourself as an expert.

I would spend some time reading and studying the Warriors for Hire section of the forum, especially the ones with the most replies who have been getting sales for years. I suggest that you start reading from the first post, when they first started offering their services to see how they got the ball rolling .

I would also study the ads at Freelancer and Odesk prior to posting anything. Read the reviews of the members with high ratings and compare the prices. The advantage of the Warrior for Hire section of this forum is that you can see how they started from the beginning, what offers, or deals they needed to provide to get started.

There isn't really a good way to market this type of thing for a number of reasons.. the primary being that your position is becoming obsolete and has a very limited lifespan on it. Five more years and there won't be need to support systems.. since everything will be cloud, operating systems will be cloud and comanaged, and (much like the ipad.. they don't catch viruses or break down really). Instead of trying to learn to market a dead service I would start learning a new service that will be in demand and growing in the future.
