Where to find work online?

I've come to the conclusion that I need money to invest to make some sites. Where can I find legit work online? I don't mind doing small repetitive tasks over and over again. My main concern is finding people or companies that actually pay.

If you're a halfway decent writer, you can get paid to write articles. There are a number of websites that will pay around $5 to $10 per article. Sign up for a bunch of them and submit the requisite writing samples. Once you're accepted, start hammering out articles until you have enough money built up to move into other ventures. Writing articles isn't going to make you rich, but it can be used to build up enough money to pay for web hosting and an autoresponder.

There are a lot of them. The problem is they pay peanuts.

Your time would probably be better spent mowing lawns or setting up a lemonade stand.

There are people who will do repetitive online tasks for almost nothing. That's tough to compete with.

You just need a little money though. You can get hosting for 1 penny the first month, and an autoresponder account for $1. If you don't have anything left after that you can always learn about wordpress and use free plugins for creating a site or squeeze pages.

Plus if you do these things and you're serious about starting an online business, you can't underestimate the experience you gain from doing these things. You'll learn something new everyday which is priceless. You won't get that when you do a boring repetitive task for some small payments...

You can go to Fiverr and offer some gigs for $5. Just a few nice gigs and sales, and you'll make $30-$50 bucks in no time. If you need more offer more things and keep working on it,

I would recommend going to iWriter if you want to get yourself out there as well if you happen to be a good writer.

There are plenty of freelance sites, really depends on what you are good at. If you can do a good job people will pay more, but you might have to start off small giving low bids to get the feedback.

Try websites like freelance websites like Guru.com and Freelancer.com. If you have a gig to offer you can try Fiverr.com. One gig that anybody with a good voice and a professional microphone can do is voice overs.

A lot of the sites that pay you to publish written content on their sites don't really pay that well, so if you want to do something like being a ghostwriter, I recommend that you set up your own site on your own domain. This way, you'll be able to charge more money. You might also want to check out ghostwritingcash.com by Tiffany Lambert (formally Dow, still has her old, married name on the page). She's awesome and really knows her stuff.

    Hi Tinroof

it all depends on what skills you have ...

If getting a regular "job" is out of the questions to bring in some $$$, then the other option is to outsource your time on one of the many marketplaces -Freelancer-Odesk-elance-people per hour etc etc

There is a lot of great products in the marketplace here to choose from which will also help you finding ways to make money online

    I hope this helps

Here's another vote for Fiverr. I don't think there are any methods that are anywhere near as easy to get started with (while still having great potential to scale with the right gigs).
