Freelancer.com Question

Hey guys,

I just started freelancing on Freelancer.
I see there are some contests and I would like to enter them. Some of them are labeled as open, with the timer still running, but the Contest host has already picked the winner. Does this mean I cannot enter anymore? How does this work?

Really appreciate your helps!

      This was what I was thinking too. It just confuses me because the timer is still running and it says "Open".

        Maby they set a automatic time clock for deleting those Contest after picking a winner?

    I think the person who posted the project has accepted a freelancer, but the deal isn't finalised yet. So if the deal breaks up then there will be another winner. So yes you can still win this contest imo.

    I'm talking from experience of posting projects, which means if i award a prject the deal isn't final yet.

    Yeah, I agree. There are fair chances that the deal hasn't accepted yet. If the had hired someone, the contest will be obviously closed..
