It all depends what you're selling, the marketing budget and what skills you have...

Pay per click advertisements are great if you can afford them and can setup the right criteria to have the highest possible conversion rate.

    Or...

If you have the skills or want to learn how, building a commerce store(that connects to eBay) is a great way to build more sustained traffic and create a credible brand to sell products from.

For example you can quickly launch a responsive e-commerce store using Drupal's Commerce Kickstart install package, and simply link the products to the eBay, where they can be purchased. If you ever decide to move past eBay you now have a powerful online store that can support your growth and easily be scaled to include addtional features/modules: Coupons, Customer Rewards, Automated Email Lists, etc...

    Download Link: https://www.drupal.org/project/commerce_kickstart

Example: Welcome to Commerce Kickstart | Commerce Kickstart

Let me know what route you want to take and I would be happy to provide more resources and links.

Driving traffic through your eBay depends on what your selling at your online store.

You can create a site relevant to the niche and rank on the SERP while having your ebay store display on your site.

That's extremely easy . . . test, test, and test some more. Really. It's the very best way to see if traffic converts.

I would say Google Adwords. But then again, you can use all kinds of ways to drive traffic to your ebay store or ebay product listing. Ebay and Amazon converts very well. I know you specifically said *ebay*, but i had to point that out anyway. Folks tend to trust Ebay and Amazon, rather than from your own website. I imagine this the reason why people who list their WSO here on Warriorforum gets more sales here, than from the same pitch on their website.

The best tactic is to exploit the massive traffic already browsing eBay.

Make your headings relevant and enticing. Be sure to cover all the benefits of your products in your listing. Check the "completed listings" for items in your category and see what headings, benefits and listing formats have resulted in the most sales. Then keep testing the variations.

Focusing on optimizing your listing is likely to provide more immediate sales increases than any external traffic methods.

There are many ways to get traffic. First make sure that you are selling products that are in high demand. Then try using eBay blogs, eBay guides and reviews to get traffic. Both automatically contains links to your listings.

Thanks for the tip on looking at completed listings for headings and listing ideas. A few iterations and you could really nail down what converts for a specific item.

Thank you for this. I have never even looked into the blog or guide section of ebay. Especially knowing that they contain your listing links has my wheels turning.

You should create a YouTube channel all around your niche, and do reviews, then drive traffic back to your Ebay store

I used to sell on ebay years ago and don't know if it has changed much, but having regular ebay listings was the best way for people to then go to my ebay store. You may want to create a few listings that last more than a week at a give away price to get people to jump from the listing to the store. Use the listings as bait or an ad for the store.

Guys, thanks for all of your ideas!!
Now let me ask you this: can i pay to someone (even here) based on results?
I mean you drive traffic to my store and the item is sold, you get some % from the total sale..
The only thing is that you will need to show me that you drive the traffic and that it converts.
Do you think this kind of option is good?
    Thanks,

I would start with Facebook... both paid and organic.

Create a fanpage in your chosen niche and post regular and interesting content to it.

Also drive paid Facebook traffic to your fanpage and directly to your eBay store.
