What File Format is this from Fiverr?

Hi Guys

I contacted a logo designer on Fiverr and she has apparently sent me the design in a file format that I'm unable to open (I use a Macbook Pro). This is her reply when I told her that I couldn't open it: "I send your File in Win RAR compress format".

When I try to open it the orange and white cone shape icon appears at the bottom of my screen and the VLC media player box appears on my screen but I can't open the logo. For a logo design this appears to be the wrong format - am I correct?

    Hi, that is an archive file and you will need to unzip it with an unzipping program that can decompress (open) the .rar file. Many unzip programs that unzip .zip files will also take care of .rar files for you.

          is the doggy's doo dahs once installed right click and select "open archive".

            I once bought a ClickBank product that was delivered in that format (with absolutely no mention of it on the sales page at all! I was most displeased. I'm only here because I'm stalking JimmyD today ).
