I had to click that link to see for myself.

And all I can say is wow...i heard on the news
that the day of his death Barnes and Nobel had
sold out of all of music.

And that online - more than 60% of music sales
came from Michael Jackson...

A lot of businesses have picked up because of MJ's death. That's expected, obviously. But the $10mil domain is totally insane.

Humm! Let's analyze this a bit more.

Maybe that 10 mil one was organized as staged as sold (sold to him/herself with a different Ebay ID) to push other similar names. Mindset is, if the media catches on the fake sale as real, who knows maybe some sheik will fork-out a mil for whatever similar domain available with triggered impulses to buy! That's being the case..this is a prime example of a BlueFart strategy in action.

The people who are mostly going to profit from his death are his family and I would imagine they have no qualms about making money from his memory. Look at Elvis, I believe he's worth much more dead than he was alive.

Huge companies are making a killing (excuse the pun), from his death re-issuing albums, cd's and other memorabilia, so though I wouldn't personally want to profit from Michael Jacskon's death I certainly wouldn't slate anyone else for trying to cash in.

I think its a shame people would try and profit from his death. Ive seen internet marketers on youtube putting videos up saying R.I.P Michael Jackson BUT STILL putting there URL in just trying to get traffic. It will not be targeted so I dont know why they bother.

Only way I can see it being real is if a HUGE amount was donated to charity, more likely someone was offended and stopped the auction the fastest way they could.

But come on if this annoys you then your too sensitive for the internet, like the other guy said, TV channels showing programs after he died, his record label will probably release another album in due time, its just business, get used to it or never make any money.

this is very far from immoral, there are plenty of companies making money from people dieing, plenty of companies will make money from MJ's death, thats just the way business is.

P.S. I am a massive MJ fan I just don't see what people are upset about??
