Max Amount Of Ad Swaps Per Month?

Hey Guys

I am gradually building a list, doing ad swaps with other people.

I have a very small list at the moment. How many AD swaps would you do per month to avoid saturating your list - causing them to be less responsive.

Also do you ask for proof of a partners database before proceeding? Along with asking questions like their click through rate etc?
