Shocking Clickbank Statistic Inside

I just got email from Matthew Glanfield.

Here is the content :

Get ready for a shocking fact...

I was reading an interview with
Clickbank's VP of Business Development
today, and in it he admitted that most
affiliates don't actually make any sales...

Clickbank has 1.2 million affiliates, and
only 110,000 of them make at least 1
sale every 3 months. The others don't
make anything at all.

And here's the really scary part:

Only 1% of the ones that get sales make
enough money to live on.

Man, that's crazy.

I think we'll have to consider multiple accounts. And people who create an account, do their stuff for 10 days and start to forget it all?

Your title is very misleading, its not shocking at all.

Plus a lot of affiliate sales are made through publisher accounts through joint
ventures. Probably the majority. And what there are at least some 10,000
of those last count I heard, probably much more now.

I've consulted and/or managed some large affiliate programs over the years and yes, this is normal. Roughly 1% make steady sales, and less than 5-10% making once in awhile sales.

those stats can be applied to information marketing, affiliate marketing etc...

and like alexa said, alot of people don't even try.

When you see stats like "97% of people that try to make an online business fail" but the truth might be that 90% of THOSE people never actually tried long or hard enough.

    It ain't clickbank's fault.

Lots of those people, fill out the cb form but run back to MLM/recruiting people stuff,

( cause they don't want to apply themselves since all they really want to do is submit ads at biz op hangouts etc. and hope for the best )

and never make any money and also forget about CB, so they're on the books but have not really tried anything of substance.

Honestly - and maybe this is because I'm a pretty careful buyer - most of what I've purchased through Clickbank I've been extremely happy with. I've only ever asked for one refund, and it wasn't for an ebook, it was for software that didn't work.

    NO! That is not crazy.

    It's blatantly obvious.

The industry is totally full of false promises.

"Everyday people" chase these promises only
    to find they don't work.

    Time after time after time.

Lot's of ClickBank affiliate accounts created...

Lot's of people TRYING to make it work...

Lot's of people making ZERO money...

    That's not crazy, it's obvious.

    It is clearly the reality.

I find that statistic really hard to believe, I know that there are alot of tire kickers on Clickbank; but just 1% make enough to live off of? No way.

Are you kidding me? Even as bad as the economy is, there are lots of affiliates making money.

It's good that 11,000 affiliates are making good money from Clickbank.

I just checked www.cb-analytics.com/ for high gravity products.

In fact 'Fat loss 4 idiots' is having 21 million dollar clickbank account.

What I don't understand is why so many people are not taking action after registering with clickbank.

            There can be many reasons-

            1. When they created the account they were not ready to promote it. It is free and fast, so they created it anyways and later moved on.

            2. They found a better opportunity and scraped the clickbank idea.

            3. They quit IM alltogether.

            4. They tried multiple projects together and clickbank was not the most profitable one.

            There can be many more.

              5. They did not meet the Customer Distribution Requirement
and did not get paid out (even if they had made sales).

              Shut up everyone!

The OP is totally correct: nobody is making any money from ClickBank. It is way too hard. All the products there are useless.

Wait ... what was that noise? Oh yes, it was sound of another couple of thousand dollars landing in my bank account. It can't have come from CB though - after all, nobody is making any money from THEM!

Let's all get back to MLM where the real money is.

I'm in Clickbank since the beginning of the year.

Advertised products to a list of over 29,000 emails that I have, all double optin subscribers

Just 2 sales in 6 months. Clickbank reached the saturation and no new sales

That's nothing to do with Clickbank, but a reflection on several possiblities:

      1. Your list is untargetted
      2. You haven't built up a trust relationship with them
      3. You have chosen poor products to promote
      4. You are 'selling' and not 'recommending'

      Or various combinations.
