Popup Domination Alternative

Can anyone recommend an alternative to Popup Domination.

About 6 weeks ago, I wanted to ask a few pre-sale questions before I bought software, but I I still haven't received a reply.

If that's how they treat prospects who only want to ask a few questions before they buy, I can only imagine their after sale support would be even more pathetic.

I've been using Hybrid Connect, it works "ok" but it conflicts with a lot of my other plugins (like NextGen Gallery), and is a little slow. The price is great though!

I use Hybrid Connect for static display forms and WPMU pop over plugin for pop ups. The reason for wpmu is it has a geo targeting feature I need.

I also use SumoMe's list builder which exit intent pop up... It's free except you pay $10 to remove their badge from your site. I avoided pop up optin forms because they annoy me, but the exit intent feature makes sense because they're leaching anyway. It works really well increasing daily subscribers from 45 to 65+ plus per day.

How do you get the SumoMe to pop up on exit? Do you use the smart mode? I am having an issue with more visitors to my site than pop ups being displayed. The e-mail support is terribly support so I have a hard time giving them any of my money.

What about no pop-up? I know people think a bigger list means a heftier check, but that's not always the case, especially with pop-up-generated leads.

They're intrusive and annoying, and they make a lot of people enter their email addresses just so that damned thing goes away. At the same time, you're losing some of the people who get turned-off by them, who leave and don't return.

If you can, split-test it. You might be surprised.

Agreed everything is worth split testing. I am however using the pop up on an e-commerce site offering a percentage discount for new customers, it's not an IM/MMO site.
