Doing Your Own Fiverr Voiceover?

Hey guys,

I've recently been learning whiteboard animation and signed up to fiverr.

A few people have asked for voiceovers. I understand it's quite important to be able to do them.

Unfortunately, I've never done a voiceover in my life and wouldn't say I have the most engaging voice as I'm from Yorkshire in UK haha!

Anyone done one and any tips?

Thanks Joe

I use the blue microphone. You can find one on amazon for around $50-60.

I've got a Samon CO1U, cost me about the same price.

I was more concerned about the voiceover itself. I've watched some videos and they sound really professional.

      Thanks Joe

In my opinion, most people simply don't have the right kind of voice (tone, articulation, clarity, timing, etc) to create really good, professional sounding voiceovers. And the best mic in the world isn't going to change that. It definitely takes a certain skillset to do it right. If voiceovers aren't your thing, then farm out the work to someone who's good at it, and charge your clients accordingly. You'll find that there's some very good voice talent on Fiverr if you look around long enough.

If they get any upsells, then use $5 of the money they gave you and pay someone else on Fiver to do the voiceovers. Hope this helps

Brandon please, unless he has a terrible voice. Well, he is only getting $3.92 from Fiverr per gig. Go for it. PM me. I might send you a gig. Remember, there is a 20 day hold on your money. All the best to you!
