I had a look at this last year I think, and didn't think much of it. But the thing is still hanging around...

Does anyone here use it, and how?

    Is Blinkweb useful?

If you've never had a webpage before sure it can be used to learn how to create a full blown website - page by page - if you like.

It can be used to show someone how to build all sorts of landing pages also.

It's has a quality point and click, add text, pictures etc. HTML editor.

    - You don't have to get a domain yet, ( if you've never had one ) if you use Blink.

It's a solid free marketing platform for a newbie.

Short term, maybe medium term, 3/4 months, but I'd get my own space eventually.

They also have a blog option which can be very useful.

    Hope This Helps!!

Yes, I am only looking at this as a supplement to help with the expedition of creating quick, small sites. I have many full blown websites already, but was thinking that blinkweb might be a good alternative to squidoo or blogger.

        Yes sir!

Of course you won't have the benefits of the Squidoo community but there will be a lot less distractions for your prospects.

Your domain names can be something like (keyword) blablabla.blinkweb.com

Perhaps a generic domain name and hosting account with numerous sub domains will do the trick for you?

What about using it to build a site for a business for free and if they like it and wants it you sell the design and buy a domain?

You could do that, but they would probably want to own their own hosting and the property.
