Does the ClickBank hoplink server softblock IP addresses if you direct link?

Hi, I am using PPV in conjunction with ClickBank to send traffic to ClickBank offers.

Now, I am direct linking to the merchants sales page via my hoplink.

The issue I get is after sending a burst of traffic via my hoplink in a short period of time I suddenly cannot browse any more ClickBank websites via my hoplink.

The browser just sits there trying to connect to the website and then times out.

If I wait a while (Like overnight) I am able to connect again.

Has anyone ever had this / is this a known issue with ClickBank?

Thanks!

I don't think they will disable links for increased clicks. You tried different offers? If it is the same IP, it may trigger filters though (Personal opinion)

Hi, thanks for the reply; It's all off the same IP address but for different offers. It's the first time I have tried direct linking via PPV so I was unsure if this was a known issue with ClickBank.

I have contacted ClickBank support as well so I will update this thread with whatever they come back with - It does seem a bit strange :-/

You're linking directly from an advertisement to a hoplink? I promise I don't mean it rudely, but it doesn't matter, if you're doing that, because there may not be a sale at all, that way.

Sorry ... I don't understand what you're saying, here. How does one "browse ClickBank websites via a hoplink"??

Sales pages aren't on ClickBank's websites. They're (almost all) on vendors' own websites.

How do you browse "via a hoplink"?

This post may help you, too: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

Thanks Alexa for the tips and I will certainly read them I still have an issue where if I send a ton of traffic from a single IP to ClickBank in a short period of time it appears that my IP gets blocked...

    Very strange

Hi, I got a response from ClickBank and they will softblock your ip address if you send them a large amount of traffic via your hoplink in a very short time from the same IP.

There was no mention of how much traffic was too much traffic but it can and does happen.

I hope this helps someone in the future
      Regards
