For me, I think Genesis is one of the best themes out there. It's very SEO friendly.

As for plugin... I will go for All in One SEO pack. (Found that during your research?)

michakins are you using Genesis + All in One SEO pack ? I heared tat genesis SEO tool is not that good ... if I'm going to use a 3rd party SEO plugin like All in One SEO or Yoast will it still be worthy to buy genesis ?

I'm using Genesis and Thesis Frameworks for my web properties. But I will recommend Genesis ahead of the latter.

All in One SEO Pack is a nice plugin and its what I'm currently using for most of my sites. I also like WordPress SEO by Yoast too. It depends on you but both are great plugins.

All in one SEO pack is a simple, and effective SEO Plug-in that doesn't have too many fancy features though does what it should! This means you don't waste resource or slow down your site. You also get what you need done well very easily.

Yoast or WordPress SEO is a more comprehensive plug-in intended to help anyone optimize their website. It provides keyword density indications (which honestly in today's SEO environment isn't as critical as it used to be) along with tips on optimization for your title tags and description (which isn't exactly necessary because they are information you can easily find online)

Yoast also has a sitemap build in which All in one SEO pack doesn't have.

If you don't need all the bells and whistles then All in one SEO pack can be a good option.
