What's The Most Cost-Effective Keyword Tool?

I need a keyword tool to find thousands of keywords for a content network campaign. I'm thinking about using wordze but I haven't really heard much about them. Anybody have any suggestions and prices?

IMO, your best bet FIRST is to do market research and learn the niche and what drives the niche. Then, you will have an idea of what kinds of conversations people are having in the niche. I personally, haven't used a paid keyword tool in years now. Google gives you all the data you need if you know how to use all their tools together.

Market Research + Conversations = money....

    Just my opinion though.

    Google keyword tool.
It's free, and gives you plenty of information from the original source.
As far as I know Google does not give access to their search database to anyone.

So why would I want to pay money for some other service? Just because they claim their scraped who-knows-from-where keyword data is better than Google's one?

I have never used Paid Keyword tools. I only use Google External Keyword Tool. Is it really worth the money to invest on paid keyword tools?

No, it isn't. If you are good at adding modifiers and doing market research, you won't need keyword tools. Keyword tools have to get their information somewhere. And I can guarantee you that they aren't paying for it.

As with anything, it is just a tool and not some secret weapon to annihilate your competition. One thing that these keyword tools don't do is show you possible vertical markets that you can position yourself as an "in" to the more competitive markets.

Most marketers use paid keyword research tools as a crutch when they should be instead focusing on their marketing.
