Default Microsoft says my site might be a phishing website

Anyone that can help me? I have had two people contact me through another forum telling me that they got a Microsoft message (so I'm guessing they're using IE) that my site is a suspicious web site and might be a phishing web site and recommended not entering any personal information.

Now, I did change a few things on it and added a couple of paypal buttons as it's a page where the services I offer are listed, so I'm guessing that might be the problem. Does anyone have an idea on how to solve it?

To see it, go to the first link in my signature and open the page "services".

Leslie

I just checked your website in IE, i did not get any message about phishing.

I went to my security setting to check manually if your website was reported phishing or not and still, its not reported as phishing website.

Herman,

thank you for taking the time. I'm starting to think it might have something to do with personal filters they've applied, although I wouldn't know what they could be. I'm going to check tomorrow on another computer (at a friends house) to see what it gives me there.

Take care,

Leslie

Leslie, you are welcome and i agree with you, it must be filters. I don't have any filters set in my IE.

Hopefully not too many people will get this kind of message, I might loose some business. I'll keep up checking to see if I find something that I need to change, but now I know not everyone sees this message, I won't loose too much sleep over it.

Take care

You're not the first one complaining about the Microsoft anti-phishing tech screwing up. I wonder what's triggering this.

Tyrus,

I wonder about it too. First I thought I had too many paypal buttons on one page, but I have seen other sites with even more, so then I thought that wouldn't be it. Maybe it will solve it self. But I'm thinking of dividing the page over a couple of pages so the number of buttons will be less, maybe it helps.

Thank you Rus, I'm glad it's not a general problem. Only a few see it, so might be there policies or maybe even their anti-virus/spy-ware/whatever program

BTW, I like the look and feel of your site. It has a very mellow vibe, but the green you use is good for getting people thinking about money. Kind of a make money and feel groovy about it kinda thing. I like it.

Thank you JoMo, I took my time to decide on a theme that would send out the right feeling. I didn't want to use a theme everyone uses, nor did I want it too look cluttered, so I was glad I could purchase these themes (was a package of 10) at the right time.

I have had this happen to me before (just a few weeks ago even, on a new site I had built).
There's a form you can fill out with MS, and they cleared my site within a couple hours.. It was actually one of the VERY few positive experiences I have ever had with a large internet company.

Jason,

Thank you for letting me know. I'm going to look for that form and fill it in. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Leslie,

No problems on my end either.

I, too, really like that theme.
May I ask the source so that I can see what others they may have?
I'm on the hunt for a theme ... but naturally want something different from yours since:
1) You wanted something different from most others, and
2) I, too, want something different from most others!

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for checking it out.

I got that theme through a WSO here, don't know if it's still around. The website is 10 Niche Ready PLR Wordpress Themes, maybe if you look at themesinabox on the forum here you might find the wso.

Take care,

Leslie
