Your input is welcome

Hello, Everyone

Although I just recently registered to the warrior forum, I have been browsing the content within this site for quite some time. I recently decided that I would try to develop my first website. And I wanted to get your input on the topic in which my website would be based around. However, a little background information about myself would probably be helpful.

I am currently a Junior in College pursing a degree in product management, I also have a steady full-time job selling Mobile devices (PC's, tablets, Cell phones). I have a great interest in smartphones and tablets, specifically Samsung Android devices. I also have the entire entourage of flagship Samsung devices at my disposal (Tab s, S4, Note 3, s5, Tab pro ect). And I wanted to create a website revolving around written/pictured tutorials on these products in order to better help non-tech savvy consumers understand how to properly function their devices.

All the articles within the website would be written by myself. And would be in a tutorial format with both pictures and videos with voice overs. As stated before the main purpose for this website would be to help consumers better understand their devices. However, I would also like to be able to create some type of reoccurring revenue for myself. As of right now I am planning on launching my website upon completion of 30 tutorials written by-myself. As of now I am more concerned with the quality of the content within my website than actually making a quick buck. With this being said, does any have any good advice for my new venture? Advice regarding SEO, type of monetary supplement, too keywords would be much appreciated. Again, I confidently believe in my ability to create worthy content. However, I am starting at ground zero in reference to everything else!

    Welcome to the forums!

As far as your content goes, you could do a product review centered around the specs, how to use the devices and etc.. Even a written transcript of your video tutorial audio would be content worthy idea. Try to have a couple hundred words for each product you're talking about and make it very unique. Since you use them a lot there's probably things you know that other articles don't even mention. You might be best served setting up a blog, and then making 30 individual entries (1 for each video).

Combine this with some adsense ads, or amazon products, and you'll have a site with good content, your own high quality videos, and some revenue generation.

You might want to check out the SEO section of the forum for more info. Your link building strategy is really up to you. Find a plan and then stick to it.

Nice to meet you and welcome to this awesome forum!

I would research your audience: where do they hang out? What are there main problems or questions they come accross about and then start focussing on that, because that will sell.

Let's say you write all these articles but lack a plan, you would have to focus on SEO/backlinking and Google to get properly ranked and eyeballs on your articles. That's a big pain if you ask me!

Instead, I suggest you focus on your crowd, write short articles that help them with some problems or answer some of the questions they have, but sell the actual nitty gritty stuff.

    Good luck!
