Default Any recommendations for a toll-free number service...?

I am wanting to setup a way for a prospect to call my 800 number, then be able to hear different personal greetings from me based on which extension number they punch in.

Does anyone know of a service that offers this? My searches aren't really giving me what I'm looking for.

Thank you!!

Phil:

These guys have been fantastic for me: Earnware Corporation - Earnware Business Center

BUT... I originally got set-up when I was involved with a MLM that offered it to all their members. When I left the MLM, Earnware allowed me to stay on for $9.95 month. Not sure if you can sign-up as an individual without belonging to some big group. But, it's worth a free phone call to find out...

800 #, email account, fax service, fax on demand, multiple customizeable extensions, "follow-me" service -- when someone calls your 800#, if you want, system will look for you at three other phone numbers, tell you who is calling and you can decide to accept call or send them to voice-mail without them knowing you're on the line. Can listen to all voice-mail messages and/or view faxes from web interface from anywhere in the world for free. Also has all the back-office stuff like planner, contact manager, auto email follow-up, etc.

Suggest you call the 800# for Customer Service on front page and see if it's still available to individuals.

Chuck

I use RingCentral.com for two offline businesses and have been happy with the service and support. I use local numbers but toll-free numbers are available.

I've been trying Ringcentral as well. So far no problems at all, they have all the features that you may possibly want.

Add a subscription and virtual number from Skype and you'll have a top notch phone solution at an affordable price.

If you have hostgator for your website hosting, certain hosting accounts have a toll free# included in your monthly payment. I know the Linux Web Hosting Packages / Business at 12.95 mo include a toll free #

Here is a comparison chart: (non-affiliate of course)
Web Hosting - Shared cPanel Linux Web Hosting

[ The Business plan provides a free toll-free number for your web site and business.
Minutes Included Per Month: 100 -- Additional Minutes: 4.9 Cents
Included minutes are based on a calendar month. By default, you'll be able to receive calls from US callers only. You can enable calls from Canada in your control panel, but will be billed 6.9 cents per minute for all calls from Canada due to the increased costs of providing service there. This service is provided and supported by Voipo for new HostGator clients. ]

Only 100 minutes free per calendar month & only USA.....guess free doesn't get ya much these days...lol
Not sure about the messaging... but it's still worth looking into...

I have used arch telecom forever also. Never had any problems. you can record a bunch of greetings and "shadow" the recordings to other extensions so you don't have to record them over.
