Cost to make an app

I know this is a pretty broad question but I'm just wondering, how much does it cost to have an app created/outsourced? Is it like a couple hundred dollars or are we talking about thousands? Thanks!

    Or you could learn programming yourself and use flash to create a game. Otherwise, be prepared to pay for what you get. All you really need is an addictive idea, if you're moving for a game. Look at what Flappybird did to that world...
