Problem with Windows movie maker

I am trying to create a video but when I start creating it I get the message:

"Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".

Its a message box and it kicks me out of windows movie maker. I hope you guys know what I am talking about.

Is there anyway I can fix this? I googled read a forum people had the same problem but it was foreign to me so I just though this forum would know. Thanks..

    KB24, I had the same problem best thing to do is update to the next

    version for free just click the link here and I hope this will help your
