How much do you make PER list subscriber on average?

Hi,

Does anyone know how much the average internet
marketer makes per email subscriber?

let's say you have a list of 1000 people...then on
average, how much do most people make?

i heard somewhere if you have 1000 people, you
should be making at least $1000 a month...

some people say if you have 1000 people, the
average is around $500 a month...

anybody know the stats or heard anything about this?

Hey BJ! Good 'seeing' you here! I just put a reply to a post about this subject. I believe it really depends on the niche and, although you can have an 'average' number, personally I don't think saying someone should be making x amount per subscriber per month is accurate at all.

It depends a lot on the niche you're targeting. You have experience in several niches, have you noticed any difference in your revenue from each list?

Personally my experience is one of my lists only has about 2k subscribers but brings me well over 10k a month. So the general belief that 'you should be making $1 per subscriber per month' doesn't apply to me.

It also depends A LOT on your marketing strategy, what you're selling, and how you're selling it.
