So you've got the best product in the world...

How do you get it out there?

What are the exact steps you'd take to launch it?

How do you execute whatever, to get the MOST sales and exposure from it without "leaving money on the table"?

How do you come up with the most efficient and best Sales funnel if you have no experience or have no idea how?

What are strategies you should use to make the most from it and make it successful?

PS. All this while you've already have a website/blog, an email list (~130 people), and a social media page, but no experience in the Sales/Marketing side of it. Mentor? Marketing firm?

Generally, you don't create a product and then look for a market. That's back to front.

First, identify your prospects. Find a group of potential customers who are already spending money in your chosen niche - preferably buying the sort of product(s) you intend to create.

Then be sure you can reach these prospects in a cost-effective manner. Are there places where they tend to hang out? Is there an advertising platform that would be particularly effective? Do you have any other means in which to position yourself in front of them; for example, could you get access to a list of prospects in your niche?

Address these questions and not only will you find it easier to create an in-demand product, but you'll also have a head start in marketing it.

      Thanks for your response.
In this scenario, pretend that the product is already an "in-demand" one. The product creation process is not what I'm referring to, but instead the technicals of getting it out there and exposing it.

The point is that if you've successfully created an in-demand product, a major part of that process would have involved researching its potential market. Therefore, you'd already know who your prospects were and how you were going to reach them, and your promotional activities would follow on from that.

You wouldn't be starting cold with no marketing plan.

      Exact-i-mento!

Even taking it a step further...

If you've got the best product in the world, but you have little or no experience on how to market it?

It should be easy to partner with someone who has the track record, connections and skills you don't. Or at least a mentor. Don't make it complicated.

what people skip is protecting intellectual property. securing intellectual property protects your idea from getting duplicated.

Would adding a "copyright" footer/intro of your eBook be sufficient for this?

    Ahakimi,

    Frank is so right!

All your questions are answered by the market research you do (usually) before you decide what market to enter.

The Internet landscape is littered with "the best products in the world."

Many new to Internet marketing wrongly believe that their chosen market is going to absolutely love a new product created just for them.

Problem is . . . there is no demand . . . and sadly, the marketer could have seen that from the outset had he done some research to see what the market really wanted!

When you do market research into demand, and you do it well, you are left with a road map into your market. You know who and where the audience of prospects are found, you know how to best reach them, you know who your competitors are, you know what other products are out in the market and how they are being received, you understand where the unmet needs lie, you recognize what the niche participants are asking for, and you know what should be a part of your sales funnel.

Essentially, you will have answers to all the questions you asked in your initial post. When you know what the demand is and where it lies, you will understand how to be position your business in its niche to sell into that demand.

Market research doesn't have to be complicated or lengthy, but if you don't do it, you are guessing all along the way and that's no way to build a profitable business.

    The very best to you,

    Steve

I've learned over the years that what I consider the best product in the world and what the marketplace considers the best product in the world are, in fact, 2 different products...
while you may consider it the best product in the world, and indeed it may well be, if there is no demand for it, you will struggle to make money with it.

Truth is being told here already. You have worked from back to front, BUT......now that you HAVE the product, you can find the answers to your questions from the answers given to above:
Find your crowd. Where do they hang out? What do they want? Is your product what they want or need? Yes? Good! All you have to now is connect with your audience and hard selling isn't even necessary.

If not, adjust your product or use it as a giveaway to people to get them on your list. Since you already have a list, warm them up! Ask them what they want and how soon they want it. Use what you already have and improve it. You have a list! There are so many people that don't even have a list!

I do suggest getting more information about setting up a proper funnel. There is a ton of information about this on the forum.

Expand your list and start selling! You're already halfway there!

    Good luck!

Submit to Muncheye and launch calendars 1 or 2 weeks before your launch date (at least).
This if you're launching something big or so.

Otherwise (if it's a quick product/freebie etc), you may try the WF paid alternatives.

Everyone has the best product. Even though the product could be crap, if you can market it right you can make sales.
