IMer's: "How To Make Yourself Necessary or Irreplaceable"

"How Can I Make Myself Irreplaceable or More Necessary Today?" That's the home-made 'motivational' poster I hang over my desk. Here's why ...

One of the biggest skills to have today is the ability to make yourself irreplaceable or necessary to a prospect or customer. And it doesn't happen by accident.

In fact, if you can't make yourself irreplaceable (or at least necessary) you're in danger of getting replaced or totally ignored ... in most situations! Yes, whether it's your job, marriage or internet business -- and the bar continues to rise.

Today, the easiest and quickest way to get lost in the crowd is to ... follow the crowd!

It's the new normal, as competition continues to soar - customer loyalty continues to shrink like a cheap suit. The old adage of "what have you done for me lately" is today's motto.

For example, I know everyone has their own viewpoint. But my top 3 ways of meeting this demand is to practice ...

  • Doing What Competitors Don't Like to Do!
  • Doing or Giving A Little More Than Prospects and Customers Expect!
  • Being More Adaptable, Flexible and Adjustable to Change!
So, what are you doing to make yourself irreplaceable or at least necessary? What do you think it takes? Any thoughts, ideas or tips appreciated.

I agree with your points, and I think it applies to even those with a tiny customer base especially.

I think the more unique you can make your offer, the more people are going to think they need you. It has to do something for them in a way no one else can do it. And sometimes even price factors in to people feeling like they need you. Maybe that extra $10 off is what a struggling marketer needs for the same info that'll cost them more elsewhere.

Even with your products, they don't have to be a brand new technique, or even new information (I.E. 90% of all WSO's) But sometimes, all it takes is a particular way of tapping those hot spots for your customers.

For example copying your competitors model of launching a product that teaches people the basics of list building, but on top of that adding video content, and then adding a membership site on top of that. That appears the same on the surface. But then you do something new like add 24/7 support and now your competitor can't match you. And to make it even crazier you make it $5 cheaper and you're in the drivers seat the more you get your offer exposed to prospects.

More isn't always better, but i think those types of things tend to make people stick.
This convo can go a million ways. But value and pricing is what keeps people sticking.

I think if you want to make yourself as you described you must be yourself.

You must separate yourself from trying to be like everyone else instead offer YOU.

And because you are UNIQUE people will respect you more and want to listen to you.

    Right on Niche Man!!

You got a great point here! .. the best way to get faster results online is by standing out from the massive crowd, and following the crowd will just not do that for you!

You need to grow your knowledge on a daily basis and also try to become a better human being than the day before. Keep on self-improving and that alone will show in front of people.

This is how I stand out from the crowd - I read valuable content daily, listen to informational audios daily, I mastermind with other internet marketers daily, and just self-improve little by little.

I try to do what most don't and I try to be the leader I would want to have myself.

Being yourself and shinning through that is also a great way to stand out - after all, how many people have the same exact character that YOU have???

You just have to learn how to bring your real character out through writing, videos, and any type of communication online!

    Great tips here man!!

I wish you the best of the best!

    CHeers!
