My offline business is providing business appraisal services. I can only do so many by myself. Doing the appraisals are very easy. I am in the process of creating a lead generation system for my appraisal business. The good thing about biz appraisals is I don't need to be in the same city or state to do the appraisal. As long as the biz owner can attach, fax, email, mail the financial documents I can do a appraisal from any state or city. This opens up lots of opportunities for clients. I only do appraisals for businesses that generate $1 million to $10 million in annual sales. Lots of businesses in this category. Part of my plan is to outsource the work so I can focus on the marketing. This way I couild bring in LOTS of work every month. Any thoughts on outsourcing? Share your experiences.... |

Yeah, make sure you trust the people who are going to do this really, really well. I suggest you start by giving the guys you outsource to small tasks and gradually increase responsibilities. You don't want inexperienced, unknown people to get their hands into important stuff specially before they've proven themselves. Tyrus |

Outsorcing is the greatest thing in the world. Still I have been burned many times. Things has not been delivered, and I have gotten some crappy rewritten articles from the first article that pops up when the writer does a search for the keyword I want an article for. As tyrus said. Test your outsourcers, and when you find good people, pay them extra, and build a relationship. You do not want to lose them. |

Separate the tasks that you outsource. Have different people doing different parts of the appraisal process and sending the information to you to analyze. Don't teach anyone to do the entire process or you're giving them your business.

Outsourcing is a great idea, if done the right. My business mostly thrives on outsourcing. With some hiccups to begin with, now it's a pretty smooth process for me. You have to be very diligent in choosing your service providers. The quality of the service provider determines the success of an outsourced project. Also, your involvement throughout the process, maintaining smooth and clear communication with the service providers is very crucial. If these things are taken care of, outsourcing can really prove to be beneficial for your business. Good luck ![]() Quote:
