Dead Amazon PR 2 Site. What to do?

I have answer there to..Pigeon update affect only local rankings. Maybe that is not the cause. Even if is a Amazon site..have you add new content to it?
    have you manage SEO?
From 2012 until now new sites have appear and maybe they are in front of you because they make better SEO. was a lot of Google updates..have you try to stick with them to keep rankings?

A lot of people after get good rank in Google forget the site..but don't understand they need to keep with it to maintain ranking.

Didn't you get a notice by the helpdesk that it will expire?

        ...
Keep an excel file with all the data you have...hosting/domains date that expires..and all that. Will be better for you in future.
Good luck with that..and see maybe you can get it back. After expire you have 7 days to get it back.

    The lesson is simple.

If you are serious about making money online you need to take care of your business. Don't rely on Google or anyone else to send you traffic or keep the money rolling in. You should be responsible for every aspect of what happens when you own a web site . . . including not letting your hosting run out, your domain name drop, and all the other details.

Business is serious stuff. Don't treat it like a distant relative.

In my experience, unless you're penalized, it's easier to start again with an established website rather than starting from scratch.

Did you have a keyword rich domain? or a brandable one?
Did you outsource the content or wrote it yourself?
How competitive is the niche you were in?

If the site was deleted, then that explains your problem. But, from the point of view of anyone else who might be wondering, I would not just rely on organic/search engines for traffic. Take time to develop your Facebook audience and even Twitter. Get involved on social networks and forums that relate to the type of products you are marketing on your blog. This will be a more direct approach than using Google for an occasional visitor.

    1. Write a half dozen new posts and schedule them to drip publish over the next 6 weeks.

    2. Disavow any shitty links using google webmaster tools

    3. Buy a high quality link building campaign. Not bulk low/mid grade links.
