WSO Without Using WarPay. Who's Got That Link?

I've seen it in threads but not having any luck searching. I know some of you have it.

Also, why is it not a clear option? Will that option soon be going away?

Thanks!

Brent

It's probably best to just save it to a text file.

Stupid move if you ask me if they were to remove it. Would kill any launches using JVzoo, Warrior Pro, Paypal etc. Not everyone would be happy being cornered/forced into using a particular payment processor.

Well they haven't nuked the old way yet but they sure don't seem to want to openly offer the option. If WP was the only option I would be spending my time on something else.

Agreed. I don't sell many (well haven't for a while) WSOs but am in the process of putting a few things together and one of the ways they are/were going to be promoted was the WSO section but this move is making me think twice.

I know it's not happened (yet) but looking like they're positioning themselves to do so unfortuantely.

This looks like a thread designed to 'send a message'. The complaint threads already posted have settled down - so let's start another? It's not a "clear option" because there's no reason to provide free ads for the competition.

What's your reason for not going straight to the competitor's sites (W+ and JVZoo) and using the links there? When you go to WarriorPlus or JVZoo do you see a link/ad for WarPay? Wonder why.

What I notice is often the 'message' doesn't always come across as intended (don't mean you specifically). You say 'unfair - too hard - can't find it' and I see "can't solve a simple problem but wants to sell me something". I'm kidding - but it's something to think about.

When you run a WSO, do you include links to other WSOs on the same general topic so buyers have a "choice?" Or do you think if buyers want a different WSO...they have to find it themselves?

The message is obvious. Someone wants to launch a WSO but doesn't want to use WarPay and they can't find the link buried in one of those complaint threads. I copied it down, but not everyone did. I got a pm from someone asking me if I knew the link. Was he sending me a "message" too?

I apologize if I'm wrong. Asking for the link makes sense - but you included "why" and "is it going away" and those have been argued/addressed/discussed in the past week.

I agree about drawbacks of the new system that need to be addressed. Competing systems who profit from the WF (but didn't have to pay millions to buy it) should be advising their customers how to run a WSO with their system and I expect those smart guys at JVZoo and W+ are doing that.

One of those competing systems is responsible for much of the traffic in the WSO forum initially, since it was the first to introduce a popular affiliate platform here.

That aside, W+ does provide the link to launch a WSO listing here without WarPay. They also have self-hosted listings, as does JVZoo. I currently have some self hosted listings with both of them and am making sales completely independent of the WF. Still have listings in Complete Sites for Sale until they eliminate my options there.

Ha. How ironic. You are the only person who took this thread over there. It was a simple question. It looks more to me like you wanting to turn this into another debate that it was never intended to be.

Move on. The OP is perfectly in his rights to ask the question. Either the forum bans other payment processors and be done with it, or put the link as an option when creating a WSO. Anything else just looks deceptive... and on the Internet, perception is reality.

It was "designed" to get the link.

    But I guess that's too simple for WF. Must be something devious! (;

I don't think Kay was necessarily referring solely to the OP.

I think when you take the content and flavor of the thread in
its entirety to the point where Kay posted she is absolutely
    right.

Had someone simply posted the link... and everyone else went
about their business... there would have been no need for Kay's
    post.

    But, that isn't what happened.

Someone... Brandon Bell... was kind enough to post the link
without further comment. What followed was the reason for Kay's
    post... which was totally justified.

A lot of people (the majority) don't sit on this forum every day and may only check in once or twice a week. For that reason it is silly to assume people have seen other certain threads and so everyone has a right to voice their opinion if and when they want to.

So if that's the way this thread turned, so be it. But pointing that out adds absolutely no value to anyone.

If Kay wanted to help, she could have posted links to the other threads she referred to... but alas, she didn't.

And the value of the observation of no alleged value is?

The second post already had the link before She posted. Why would she post it again? Alas never make a fact get in the way of an innuendo - messes with the value of a post -once, twice or thrice a day.
