Facebook banning affiliate marketers?

INTERNET MARKETING

I have seen several people stating Facebook is now banning affiliate marketing. I have been out of the loop on marketing on FB for a minute but I am now trying a comeback.

The last time I checked the FB scrapers were all over the place now I hear they are banned as well? However I see they are still being sold on the WF. The ad interface on FB, last I checked still had a space for custom audiences as well.

So whats the deal?

It seems to me like FB are just overwhelmed with marketers that they just have to step back and ban many of them. I guess they don't have a lot of room for more and more marketers.

That's why it is so important to have multiple streams of paid traffic going for you. When one dries up, you still get plenty of traffic from other places.

Are you talking about spammers blatantly spamming their links?

Or Facebook Ads not wanting affiliates?

Either way, I'm not really shocked.

(AdWords kind of set the stage for the discrimination against affiliate marketers. Yes. I said discrimination).

Hey Guys,

Well from what I know so far, they (FB) don't accept dating ads any longer. I heard people have to cloak to run affiliate stuff. The only way to run ads is if you own the product. Seems nuts because of all the lost money in doing that.

Another reason I want to know is because I don't want to lose my personal FB account.

I will eventually stop being lazy and just call somebody I guess.
