What is a decent gravity?

I was watching one of Michelle Macphearson's videos and she said that a CB product has "decent gravity". What "decent gravity" do you look for before you do anything to promote or go further with a CB product?

Anything above 20-30 I guess, means the product is selling decently

The product that MM was checking out has a gravity over 100.

Anyone else have a number they look for?

I don't think the level is as important as the rate of change. There are plenty of good CB products that are new with low gravity. You can tell if they have potential by looking at rate of change in gravity. From day to day if it is increasing by 2-3 points, jump on it because the competition is usually not too much and it is showing to be a winner.

      Ryan,

You can go to cbengine and check the stats for any CB product. Look for something with a rising trend to promote or even better, find a trend that everyone hasn't jumped on yet that already has a CB product that's not being promoted.

Also, look at the numbers like commissions and if there's a backend or continuity program. Something selling for a $5 commission with good gravity may make less money than a $30 with much less gravity. The general rule for many is no less than $25 commissions or 50 gravity. Nothing is set in stone though. Just make sure to do a lot of research first. Hope that helps. Patrick

I don't accept that "searching by gravity" is the way to go at all.
I agree. Gravity in some niches has little to do with it. In the make money niches a high gravity could just be the result of everyone using their own ID to buy the product.

I just promoted a product on my list that has a gravity under 10 and I'm guessing now it has been one of the best converting products I have promoted in the last couple years.

There are some great products that just haven't been promoted.

What matters is if you can make sales with that product, not whether the product has gravity or green color or is rectangular

If it makes you sales, you should promote it. If not, move on.

Everything should be treated as a test. I agree with Alexa, above.

I agree with Alexa. I like to stick with lower gravity and I especially like new CB products.
