Clickbank Vs Clicksure vs others

We have a product we have been working on and are ready to go live in about 30-45 days. Does anyone out there have an opinion on what affiliate program would be best to work with?

I have used clickbank as an affiliate before but never as a vendor.

I product is a software instant landing page designer with auto responder and lead tracking so it is not your typical video or ebook but can still be put in the digital download affiliate programs.

Thank you in advance!
Ryan

Clicksure attracts all of the black-hat marketers for reasons that will remain obvious, but anonymous in this thread. Clickbank is a better option in terms of attracting white-hat affiliates, bu they are more expensive to run as a vendor. $50 product approval fee, maintainence fees, and the 7.5% + $1 per sale fee makes CB rather pricey unless you have an existing budget. CB is good about managing risk however, whereas JVZoo is more vulnerable to affiliate fraud. JVZoo is a great option, but I've had some trouble in the past with fraudulent purchases made by bad affiliates. The customers went through PayPal instead of JVZoo too which cost me out of pocket. But anyway, I'd say CB or JVZoo. Like I said, Clicksure (and ClickBetter) attract a lot of unsavory types.

Yes, the costs involved with Clickbank is high, but if you believe in your product, you should go for Clickbamk in my opinion. You could also try out the new payment processors like JVZOO. These work great as well.

Clickbank is the most authentic of the lot, but they tend to have a high refund rate of some of its products especially Digital downloads. JVZOO seems to be the choice nowadays, as most of the top products are now released through them.

If you want to get your product sold at a good price, then go with JVZOO. This is what I recommend since the fees aren't too high and neither are the refund rates. Clickbank literally allows for people to get refunds done right away, so you almost have zero control of it. Stick to JVZOO. Get accustomed to it now.

Almost all of ClickBank's products are "digital downloads".

Their refund-rates are determined primarily by the behavior of the affilites promoting them. Some affiliates have high refund-rates for every product they promote. Others have very low refund-rates for those same products. For the most part that isn't about the vendors or the retailer.

ClickBank's been established longer than Google, has turned over billions of dollars, and sells plenty of software very successfully.

Curious then, that JVZoo is so small, while ClickBank has well over 15,000 different products for sale, and has expanded so much over the last couple of years?

There was a thread about Clicksure only yesterday. Here it is: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...e-trusted.html

You're wrong about that. Run the same amount of sales through CB for a product as you do over at JVZoo. Do it for the exact same product, just switch things out and don't use affiliates. Use your own paid traffic. Take a guess which refund rate is ALWAYS higher...

CB has been on a downtrend for the past few years which is why they have been independently contacting digital product vendors to entice them to come back to using CB. Myself and MANY other of my vendor friends have been approached. Funny, if they are still going as strong as they used to I'd suspect none of use would be contacted. They haven't expanded as much as you're trying to present here, in fact they've done a complete rebrand and added new features in order to entice vendors to either keep using them or to come back.

Their fees are high, refund habits are way too lenient, you have to jump through odd payment rules in order to get paid, etc... Not to mention, if you're focusing on doing IM products, the affilaites for that segment are over at JVZoo.

Right now, specifically in the IM community JVZoo accounts for over 70% of all product launches and has processed over 70 million dollars in transactions. Just to remind you, it hasn't been around more than I believe a little under 4 years. Also, it is on a steady increase in both products listed and revenue processed. You are in control of your own refunds and there are options to use a merchant account instead of just paypal. They are also adding Stripe as an option for payment processing.

Next time post what the real deal is instead of some wishy washy stuff about CB that isn't going to give a decent picture of what is ACTUALLY happening right now.

CS is shady and has been from day one. Even the biggest launchers/affilaites on there have trouble getting paid properly, but CS is the only processor who will take them so they keep their mouth shut and take what they can get.

Click bank and JVZoo if you want to attract the most affiliates ...

Submit your product on both marketplaces.

Clickbank has served us greatly in a few ways... No real opinion yet, but honestly interested in testing JVZoo and working on a new project to do just that.

For now, from our experiences.... Clickbank is simple to use, plugs in to every digital download/membership system/plugin and pays on time, every Wednesday.

Our merchant refund rate is below 1.5% and our overall account refund rate (including our affiliate sales) is under 2%.... And I think that says more about us, our products and how we conduct business than it does about ClickBank.

Thank you guys for the feedback.

Can we use both sites and if so is it recommended? Just because you can does not mean you should!

Also, are product is a landing page builder with auto responders built right in the program. Unlimited landing pages can be designed and we host all the sites. Is this something Clickbank will allow. It seems all they have are eBooks and digital downloads

Yes you can use both sites.

But I recommend JVzoo. Your product will not go live immediately though because all products go through an approval process. If you have any errors you will be notified to correct them.

Clicksure is getting a very bad reputation very quickly. Don't even think about it.

Clickbank is pretty old school and has had some reputation problems too.

      E. Brian Rose is the main guy over at JVzoo and he's a great guy.

Go with Clickbank since you are most familiar with how they work. If the plan is successful, venture out to JVzoo and/or Paydotcom. Just make sure you give your affiliates the marketing tools they need to promote your product for you successfully. In a sense, the same way you market your software successfully and get sales with it, let your affiliates have the same access to that marketing strategy of your's, so that you can make them successful. The more money they make, the more money you make.

    Thanks guys.

And yes Randall, we will have a very nice and effective affiliate section with every thing we use to market successful, along with training videos and the exact methods we use. We are not competing with our affiliates so we want them to make big money with us!

We have shown this product to a few people in the IM industry and they all tell us it should be a big hit!

With that said, since this is our first launch does anyone have checklist of the process from start to finish with a launch. Jeff Walker had a program about this but it was closed as of yesterday.
