how much worth is This Amazon niche

Hi to all warriors
I have an amazon review site in electronics that consists of laptops, cameras, and accessories reviews.(I read Alexa smith, Gaz cooper, sojourn alot) A guy suggested me niche with words that it is evergreen niche and people will always tend to buy these products, but am really stuck most of the electronic devices have bulk of competitions with exact keyword search goes in millions with top sites that never competable e.g CNET, techradar etc those who have low competition have less customer trends, although I prefer long tail keywords like
Exect keyword : canon eos rebel t3 Searches: 5,100,000

long tail keyword: canon eos rebel t3 CMOS DSLR review Searches: 388,000

does this long tail keywords will actually make sales?( for longtail CNET, techradar still on top)
what are your suggestion in electronic niche ( I am willing to write on technology topics)
do you prefer low trends products or past year products?

    Personally, I would stay away from electronics. New models for whatever you are selling come to quickly you always need to be on top of your sites.

    If I were to do a electronics site though, I would be very specific, such as "Laptops" Or LED Flat Screen TV's I would not have multiple items on same site

      The niche is worth a lot of money.

      It is a REALLY good niche but of course as with any good niche it is competitive.

      The KEY in my opinion is staying focused on really good quality content - take a look at CNET and how they write their reviews and see how much content they have per video.

      If you want to be certain of sales - aim to get the TRAFFIC first.

      Aim to find out where your audience are online and then once you have a following build a site.

      For instance there is nothing wrong with attacking a competitive niche as long as you are prepared to put the work in. You could make a YouTube channels that reviews the top cameras for instance and post EVERYDAY. See how you are doing in a year! I have done this so many times with both Amazon and Clickbank and it works - the hard part is the consistency.

      A little idea for you - find technology that is JUST about to explode.

      Remember the Xbox One and PS4 last year?

      Well, if you have an Amazon site and then have a press release on the week of the launch you can do really well - showcasing the best deals etc..

      The great thing about technology is that it is ALWAYS updating - use Google Trends and see which items are about to explode and focus on marketing them 3-6 months before and put the work in and you will do great.

      Was just going to say, again, in my opinion Al is spot on here.

      Try and make your site to one specific niche to start off with - once you have built a few sites i.e Laptops, computer mice, keyboards - then you can build a general site and link them all together.

          It is a personal choice.

          For instance i will give you a niche that is good to make sales with Amazon that does not have a lot of competition.

          "Car jump starters"

          or another one of my favs:

          "Bud lee jump ropes"

          I targeted cross fitters with the second one and it worked really well.

          I ALWAYS go where the competition are - that is where the money is.

          Just understand that it can take a good number of months of constant work to reap the rewards.

          If you don't want to put that much 'in' so to speak - yes start with the smaller niches.
