Is there any software alternative for the things that animoto.com can do?

Animoto.com services is quite expensive. I am looking for a more affordable similar kind of software that can be installed on my computer.

Any suggestions?

    I think it depends on what you want to accomplish, There are a lot of different methods of producing video from DIY to some of the products seen right here on the Warrior forum,

    I think the biggest question is who you want to reach and how you want to reach them, Personally there is not really any one tool or service that does a perfect job, when creating videos I tend to use several tools, producing some scenes with one product while compiling multiple videos with another product, some products work better with shorter sequences, )

    You can make great videos just using Powerpoint. Open Office has a free lookalike.

    Sony Vegas is my own best choice. It is simple to use and you can edit every single thing in a movie that you want. If you get stuck on something there tons or youtube guides that may help you for sure.
