Just took a look at the new 'Sell Your Site' section of the WSO forum, and I feel that it is going to overtake those other 'sell your site' forums in no time, even though there are not many new posts or threads there yet. The idea of warriors selling or buying sites from each other simply appeals to me, and this is great news to all flippers and bargain hunters alike. Plus, the chances of being scammed by warrior flippers is simply non existant, unlike certain other forums!

That is true, since the Warrior forum is established and used by hundreds, a scammer would have to be out of his mind to think about cheating someone on these forums.

Hi, I hope I don't sound negative, but the threat of being ripped off here is not non-existent. Because this forum does have a reputation for having a large proportion of decent people, it also attracts those who use this as cover for their scams. Quote:
One of the best ways is this - If you use paypal, and have a credit card attached to the account, when making a large purchase, MAKE SURE that there is not one cent/penny left in the balance and then use the credit card to make the purchase. This then gives you the added benefit that if ripped off, you can go through the credit card chargeback process. Sidenote - only ever do a chargeback when you KNOW for sure that you have been ripped off. Using it as a convenient way to refund a purchase damages the sellers' reputation and costs them money. Also, it is complicated for your credit card company to do so, so if you try to get them to chargeback on a genuine purchase, it can come back on you.

If we're going to be buying and selling actual websites, how about domain names also? TL |

No place is spared when it comes to scammers. Even the best government in the world has to deal with them despite strict measures put in place. Always do your due dilligence no matter how safe you think it is. Nevertheless, I agree that the new section does have the potential to make it big. It might even give flippa.com a run for their money. WF itself is able to attract and retain so many users and this gives them a huge advantage over other sources. Plus, the draw factor is that it's free. I'm pretty interested to see how it turns out in the coming months. |

I like this idea too (Is my post count 30 yet?) ------------------ I predict we'll see quite a few more of these kind of posts. |

Yeah, I only realized when I was browsing the section after I posted that reply. My bad. But I suppose the large audience WF attracts is a major plus point, something new sites can't compete on.

I wish they would add sub-forums for other types of WSOs, because the regular WSO forum is so crowded with "make $10,000 in 5 minutes without working" type products and stuff moves off the first page so quickly it's hard to find something if you're looking for it! Plus, it's very disappointing when your WSO ends up on page 3 after only one day! Complete waste of $20! They could break it down into a sub-forums like SEO products, website content/PLR article products, online-to-offline products, social marketing products, PPC products, memberships, etc. That would really help people find the products they are interested in and give sellers more exposure. Guys, I don't want to look negative but beware that this new section will attract lots of new users ready to rip off Warriors. They come, they make 30 posts in 10 minutes, sell you a site and they go away. Something you senior members can discuss with Allen, maybe? Limit the new users to buy/sell a site to a different number of posts, more than 30, maybe? Just a idea for you guys to discuss, because i feel some users are just waiting to move in and trash this. Hi folks, I think if you guys have been checking out the new section, you will notice that I've got the most posts up there in that forum at the moment. Firstly, I'm not a scammer. ![]() Secondly, I know that I am putting my reputation and life span in the internet marketing industry on the line if I were to advertise my offer to a HUGE group of internet marketers over here, so there's really no room for me to commit mistakes etc. And I am determined to make my business work. I'm sure there will be other warrior flippers who would identify with me. So, to an extent, it's true that - Quote:
Thirdly, I'm here to tell you that it's good for you to be cautious but at the same time, do remember to give people credit for the time and effort that they put in to making the site and putting up for sale. As a savvy buyer, learn to check up on the people you are purchasing stuffs from. I think it not only applies to buying sites but practically any online purchase you make. Be sure to protect your paypal accounts as well as make sure you have multiple modes of contacting the seller. Cheers, Patricia

Hi Patricia, You probably are genuine, but that has no bearing whatsoever on the statement you just made - Quote:
And the reason you give below is FULL of holes. Scammers are not concerned one iota about their reputation - if it gets ruined, they come back with a new ID. Compared to other places this forum IS a lot better. The admins and the members here are pretty clued up. But nowhere has a non existent chance of scammers being present - nowhere - so it's ridiculous to state it. Best of luck with your site sales, although they seem to be going fast anyway so no luck needed, I guess. I'm not attacking you, just stating the obvious. Buyers need to aware that scammers can and will come here to carry out their scams - and being realistic and aware of this is the BEST way to combat them.

I didn't even notice that feature until I saw your post. And, I think I'd be more comfortable selling a site here rather than any other place. The warriors don't bite their tongues and if somebody is a scammer...all you gotta do is put the word out. mmmm there are so many ways to make money here, it's hard to figure out what to do first. |

I agree with Tamara, I hope the new sub forum is a trial, and if it works, that it be rolled out to other well thought out sub forums. It's really frustrating to have a WSO be half way down the page in less than an hour, and on page 2 in 6 hours. I'm not complaining about WSO's in general, I never fail to make money with them, but it would be nice to be able to get more long lived exposure somehow. Then again, how many people will actually look at the sub forum? I don't think I have yet, and I have noticed that it was there for several days. |

Ladynana, There is always the potential for scammers, even on our "beloved" warrior forum; but I do feel that it is less likely to happen. By the way, I did just follow you on Twitter. |

I agree, it would make it so much easier and maximize exposure for everyone if the WSO section was broken into categories, rather than one forum. It's very disappointing to wait all night for a WSO to go live, only to find by the end of the day it's already off the first page, and your lucky to make back your 20 dollar investment. Especially for us folks that may not have the product that offers 10 grand in two days or something along those lines! lol Just sayin! ![]() Regards, Cori

"it's very disappointing when your WSO ends up on page 3 after only one day!" Very frustrating, especially when there are a large number of WSOs that have already had some publicity and are getting continually bumped. On the other hand, there are lots of WSOs and lots of interested buyers. I've self-checked my frustration and realize there is a lot of competition and this is the place to be. If someone is bumping (I just did my first bump myself) it probably means they're making some dough, so I can't criticize them. It's how this is setup. I do like the idea of subforums. |

I wonder if those wanting to purchase a site would be interested in purchasing a site that is setup on a domain name and ready to run. I am not talk about an established site but a brand new site that is just setup and ready to run. No I am not talking about wordpress installed sites, I mean an actual site... James |

Thanks for the add, Braver, and what i meant was, the Warrior Forum is scam free compared to other marketing forums. But that does not make it 100% safe. Be wary with any deal or transaction. Hope i cleared the misunderstanding.
