Free Information product crowd funding site questions

I am starting a crowd funding site where people can create campaigns to pre-sell their information products.

Basically a kickstarter type of site BUT for information products such as online courses, instructional videos, Saas etc.

That way you can test the market BEFORE you put in all the time into creating the course, instructional book etc.

Kickstarter charges 5% and then pay pal charges their normal fee of 2.9%.

Hoping to get some quality input such as suggestions, what people would like to see etc.

Thank you in advance.

I'm a bit confused as to what you're starting.

At first you say - and information product like a course or a webinar.

Then you say a crowd funding/proof of concept site.

Then you talk about not charging people, but then PayPal or WePay will charge people.

It's not too clear what you're looking for. If you rephrase your question, I think you'll get some better responses.

Thank you for your post. I have edited my first post in hopes of making it more clear.

    Does that make more sense?

my site will charge nothing but if your campaign accepts payments from Pay Pal or WePay they will deduct their normal 2.9%

    Is this more clear?
