Offline to Online Transit- An Introduction

Hello Warriors,

Hope all of you are spending a happy Sunday!
I am Poppy and for the last 4 years, I have been working as a business consultant. I have developed online marketing strategy for several offline businesses and most of my clients are happy with the results that they have achieved.

I have been reading online a lot about digging the offline gold and here I am to dig the online gold after having dug the offline gold already. I totally believe in business networking and I am looking forward to a great networking session with all the warriors.

To our continued success,

Poppy ( best wishes)

P.s If any of you aspire to become a consultant for offline businesses and help taking them online- feel free to contact me for any Free help.

    Greetings Poppy.

Another Warrior wrote this and posted this in another thread for someone that just joined WF today.

I read the post and it's a very interesting read. I highly recommend you to read the very first post.

Perhaps you could use the internet to find more clients. for example use PPC to attract people to your service (e.g yellow page ad design or whatever you do)

This will give you experiance in generating traffic while still stating somewhat in your comfort zone.

good luck, if you need any advice give me a PM!

Nice to meet you here. I have been dragging people kicking and screaming to the Internet for a while now. I just don't "get" why (especially the way things are today!) it is so hard for "offline" people to MENTALLY want to get online. I do understand that there is a steep learning curve, but THAT happens AFTER the commitment is made to go online. I understand that "bricks" and "clicks" are really dfferent business models on many fronts. But that TOO happens AFTER the commitment is made to go online.

And I have heard the million and two reasons why people don't WANT to go online - about 99% of the reasons are based on false information, even.

Thanks for letting me rant. I hope my rant fits here. I thinks so, but...

    Respectfully,

    Nancy Roebke

Sounds like you might already have a nice collection of potential clients for online if you've been working with them offline.

Some of the common ways of getting offline- Well, I would say begin with someone you already know who owns a small. I am sure there'll be someone in your family (may be not immediate) or someone who is an associate.

I got started in 2003 with my hair dresser. Not to mention, she and I were (are)very friendly and while discussing business, I suddenly suggested that she should get a website made that would help her establish her own brand and give an edge over her competitors.

You have keep your ears and eyes open and go out and communicate with business owners. That way you can formulate the right proposal for your prospective client.

If you have any other specific question, feel free to PM.

      Thanks

Warriors, I believe poppy is validating a lot of what our current offline warriors train on the forums already. Message reinforcement, is what I am seeing.
