Need Promotion & General Input For New Service

Hey guys, one of my main hobbies is horse racing. I have been studying racing for over 4 years and have finally got to the point were I can make consistently between £200-£500 each day from very small stakes.

The idea would be to sell my tips online which get sent daily to my customers.

I have been researching and many competitors prices range from £29.95-£49.95 per month.

At £50 per month would be good for affiliates too.

Can I ask for your advice on this in general and how I would perhaps launch this

Give it out for free and get people to opt-in into your email list and get them to go through a sales funnel where you have up-sells and offers.

Build a relationship with your audience. Maybe even have 1 to 1 coaching sessions.

It is a very difficult market until you establish credibility in your niche. For sports picks you can get them monitored by unbiased third party sources. If they have the same in horse racing, get your picks monitored, and the sales will follow shortly thereafter.

Yeah I have seen 2 third parties that will proof my tips and setup al the affiliate side of things but they give 50% to affiliates 20% for themselves for marketing and website costs and 30% for me low margin even tho they do provide the affiliates.

Right, but 30% margin may still very well be worthwhile, provided of course that the marketing and the affiliates they provide are of sufficient volume. Plus, as your first product it's a great way to piggy-back on someone else's credibility and stature in the market. I would most definitely look at snatching those customers' emails though - that's the REAL power right there.

Do your research on their offer and the potential market reach they might be able to provide you. If the returns seem even remotely viable, then use them to build your list and gain credibility in a difficult market, then take it from there.

Well let's just say I go with a third party I have to provide them my tips as a risk free trisl for 60 days just so they can see how it goes.

Was looking another way around that. I don't mind giving some tips for free to create my own list

It would probably be more profitable long term if I could find affiliates myself

You can make £200-£500 a day?

Here's an idea: build a site and post your daily results, and create an ebook that outlines your strategy. You should be doing fine.

Depending on the stake side £200-£500 is an average. Creating an ebook to outline the strategy could be time consuming for some people which is why I wanted to go down the monthly recurring payments method so I could provide the tips and do all the work.

Also with betting the more people that bet on a particular horse the lower the odds become so I only wanted to have at least 100-200 members, if I sell an ebook I think there would be more than 200 sales which would definetly reduce the betting odds

So you can make £500 a day on the horses. Then why would you want to sell tips to 100 people at £50 a month? It doesn't add up.

That would generate you 100 x £50 = £5,000 month. Divide this by 30 days and you're earning approximately £166 a day . . . which is only a third of what you reckon you earn personally per day already.

If your service is THAT good then surely you'd have a few friends laying bets at different bookmakers or online for you, on a generous commission of course, and you'd earn one hell of a lot more. The reason you don't? . . . because your "service" is obviously no good and you're just trying to make a fast buck.

Anyone who makes that kind of statement is either loaded or lying.

Tread carefully. "Tipping Services" are two a penny, and almost all of them are rubbish, many outright frauds. If you were THAT successful you wouldn't need to be touting a service at all.

I haven't got a service at the moment its just an idea at the moment.

Also it's an average of between £200-£500 depending on stake size. Also I have only been trialing this method for a couple weeks with no real money down its a paper trial at the moment.
